Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid 21° (Regular Right) — High-Launch, Forgiving Distance

The Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid (21°) is a patented tri-fusion hybrid that combines 3-wood distance with 7-wood launch and forgiveness for easier, more consistent approach shots.

Built to help mid- to high-handicap players and slower swing-speed golfers find the green more often, the 357 Fairway Hybrid blends a larger 3-wood-sized head with a high-launch loft and features that reduce turf interaction mistakes. The club’s Progressed Clubhead, Power Scoop Crown, Fast Face technology, Dual Stability Rails and a custom Load N Lag shaft were developed to increase ball speed, promote higher flight and produce cleaner contact from a variety of lies.

How does the 357 Fairway Hybrid deliver both distance and ease of use?

This hybrid is engineered to boost ball speed and keep swing effort moderate. The Fast Face “Elastic Effect” and the 3-wood sized clubhead create more ball velocity, while the Load N Lag shaft helps players load energy efficiently so distance comes without swinging harder.

• Fast Face technology for increased ball speed.
• 3-wood-sized head for a bigger sweet spot and stability.
• Load N Lag shaft tuned for smoother energy transfer and launch.

What features help the club make clean contact from imperfect lies?

Several sole and head design elements reduce digging and turf drag, improving the chance of ball-first contact when the swing isn’t perfect. The Progressed Clubhead, nicknamed "The Bulldozer," clears debris away while the Dual Stability Rails keep the face stable through impact.

• Progressed Clubhead design displaces dirt and grass ahead of the face.
• Dual Stability Rails prevent digging and twisting on off-center strikes.
• Shallow face geometry supports contact on tight or fluffy lies.

Will this hybrid help me hit higher approach shots that hold the green?

Yes—the 21° loft combined with the Power Scoop Crown lowers the center of gravity to promote a higher launch angle and softer landings. The result is easier-to-control approach shots that can stop more quickly on greens compared with a longer, lower-flying fairway wood.

• Power Scoop Crown decreases center of gravity for higher trajectory.
• 7-wood-style loft dynamics for softer landings and better stopping power.
• High-launch design benefits approach and recovery situations.

Who designed this club and why does that matter?

The 357 Fairway Hybrid was developed by a club designer with over 35 years of experience, including time working with touring champions and thousands of recreational players. That expertise informed each element—head shape, shaft tuning, and sole mechanics—so the club performs for real golfers, not just in lab testing.

• 35+ years of club design experience behind the engineering.
• Design work informed by both tour-level and recreational player needs.
• Field-tested geometry aimed at consistency and ease of use.

Who is this for? The Performance Golf 357 Fairway Hybrid 21° (Regular, Right) suits mid-to-high handicap players, slower swingers, and anyone seeking an alternative to long irons or traditional fairway woods. It’s especially valuable for golfers who want a dependable solution from uneven lies, prefer higher approach shots that hold greens, and need more distance without extra swing speed. If you want one club that blends the forgiveness of a higher-lofted wood with the reach of a 3-wood, the 357 hybrid is designed to simplify those often-tricky mid-to-long approach shots.
