Portal Reclining Camping Chair — Blue, 28" High Back with Adjustable Lumbar & 159 kg Capacity

The Portal Reclining Camping Chair is a portable, high-back outdoor seat with adjustable lumbar support and a 350-pound load rating for comfortable, long-lasting use.

This blue reclining camping chair blends durable materials and ergonomic adjustments so you can relax at the campsite, tailgate, or backyard. Built with a tall 28-inch back, reinforced steel frame and thick polyester fabric, it’s designed to support broad shoulders and maintain comfort over extended sitting periods. The chair also folds compactly into a carrying bag and includes a shoulder strap for fast transport.

How does the adjustable back and lumbar support improve comfort?

The chair features a strap-adjustable lumbar panel that contours to the natural curve of your spine, letting you dial in support for your lower back. The 28" high back works with the lumbar adjustment to cradle shoulders and neck, reducing strain during long sessions of sitting.

• Strap-tension system for custom lumbar contouring
• 28-inch high back supports shoulders and upper spine
• Durable polyester fabric distributes weight evenly

Is this chair sturdy enough for bigger users and rugged outdoor use?

Yes — Portal engineered this model with a thick-walled steel frame and high-density polyester that together support up to 350 pounds. The wide 23-inch seat and reinforced joints increase stability, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor surfaces like grass, dirt, and gravel.

• 350 lb load capacity tested for everyday use
• 23-inch seat width for roomy, comfortable seating
• Thick-walled steel tubing for long-term durability

How easy is it to move, fold, and store the chair?

The chair folds down quickly into a compact bundle and fits into the included carrying bag for straightforward storage. An integrated shoulder strap on the folded frame lets you sling it on and go without extra packing, perfect for hiking to campsites or bringing along to events.

• Quick-fold design for fast setup and takedown
• Included carrying bag and frame shoulder strap for hands-free transport
• Compact footprint when folded — fits trunk or closet space

What features make sitting and standing more convenient?

Hard armrests and a slightly elevated seat height make the chair easier to enter and exit compared with low-profile camping seats. That practicality is paired with breathable polyester that stays comfortable during warm-weather use.

• Rigid armrests for stable leverage when standing
• Higher seat height reduces knee strain when rising
• Breathable fabric improves airflow during warm days

Who is this for? The Portal Reclining Camping Chair is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts who want a balance of support and portability — campers, tailgaters, sports spectators, and family backyard users who need a sturdy seat that still packs down small. It’s particularly useful for people who prioritize adjustable lumbar comfort and a higher backrest without sacrificing a compact, easy-to-carry design.
