ProSSS Arborist Rope Protector 26-inch PVC/Polyester 2-Pack — Telescopic Fixation Strap & Quick-Release

ProSSS Arborist Rope Protector is a 26-inch PVC/polyester sleeve that shields ropes up to 15mm with a telescopic fixation strap and quick-release buckle—sold in a two-pack for repeated field use.

Designed for arborists, climbers, and rigging professionals, this ProSSS rope protector combines a durable PVC/polyester shell with an adjustable strap system so you can guard lines against friction, abrasion, and sunlight without bulky hardware. The 1.3mm-thick material balances flexibility and toughness so it conforms around branches, edges, and hardware while extending rope life.

How does the ProSSS protector reduce rope wear on sharp edges?

The protector creates a replaceable barrier between the rope and abrasive contact points, spreading load and preventing direct rubbing. Its PVC/polyester composition resists slicing and abrasion while remaining pliable enough to wrap uneven surfaces.

• 26" length covers long contact areas and distributes pressure.
• 1.3mm thick PVC/polyester resists cuts and scuffing.
• Wraps around edges to reduce single-point friction.
• Telescopic strap locks the sleeve in place during movement.

Can this sleeve fit different rope sizes and rigging setups?

Yes—ProSSS designed the sleeve to accommodate ropes up to roughly 15mm (about 1.5"), making it suitable for most arborist and climbing lines. The adjustable telescopic fixation strap and buckle secure the protector to round or slightly flattened ropes.

• Fits ropes up to 15mm diameter for broad compatibility.
• Telescopic strap adapts to varied rope profiles and knots.
• Quick-release buckle enables fast installation and removal.
• Two-pack gives spares for different anchor points or backup use.

How easy is it to install and remove while working in trees?

Installation is fast: slide the sleeve over the line and secure the strap with the buckle; removal follows the reverse. The lightweight construction and stretchable strap minimize time aloft so you can reposition protection with minimal effort.

• Lightweight design does not add significant weight to the line.
• Stretchable fixation strap holds sleeve steady under movement.
• Quick-release buckle allows single-handed disengagement if needed.
• Two sleeves let you pre-fit backups for quicker swaps.

How durable is the material against UV, moisture, and repeated use?

The PVC/polyester blend is formulated for outdoor exposure: it resists UV degradation, shedding moisture and reducing fabric weakening over time. The thickness and weave are chosen for repeated abrasion cycles typical of rigging and climbing work.

• 1.3mm thickness offers long-term wear resistance.
• PVC surface helps repel moisture and UV fade.
• Reinforced edges resist deformation from loads.
• Designed for repeated use in rough environments.

Who is this for: ProSSS Arborist Rope Protector is made for arborists, tree workers, rope access technicians, climbers, and anyone who rigs lines over branches, edges, or hardware and wants a lightweight, dependable way to reduce rope abrasion. The two-pack gives teams or solo workers the flexibility to protect multiple contact points or keep a spare on hand.
