Raskullz kids helmet — Hawk Black with 3D rubber mohawk, CPSC certified, adjustable 50–54 cm (ages 5+)

This helmet is designed to make head protection something children want to wear, pairing a dramatic 3D hawk look with practical safety features. The shell and EPS liner meet recognized U.S. safety standards for bicycle and multi-impact skateboard use, while the adjustable straps and internal fit range aim to accommodate growing heads. Before buying, measure your child’s head circumference to ensure the 50–54 cm range is correct, as fit varies by individual.

How does the Raskullz Hawk Helmet keep my child comfortable during activities?

The helmet balances a molded outer shell with an expanded foam interior to manage impacts while staying lightweight. Ventilation channels and aerodynamic shaping help air circulate, reducing overheating on warm days or during active play.

• Lightweight PVC shell over EPS foam liner for protection without excess weight
• Aerodynamic vents to improve airflow and comfort during rides
• Soft, adjustable straps to stabilize the helmet without chafing

What sizes and fit should I expect for ages 5 and up?

The Hawk is recommended for ages roughly 5–8 and fits head circumferences from 50 to 54 cm. Because every child’s head shape differs, measuring is essential—an ill-fitting helmet can’t provide proper protection. The adjustable straps allow fine-tuning once the shell sits correctly on the head.

• Designed to fit 50–54 cm head circumferences
• Recommended for ages 5 and older, typically fitting younger elementary-aged kids
• Use adjustable straps and positioning for a snug, level fit

Is this helmet certified for safety standards I can trust?

The Hawk Helmet is manufactured to meet the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standard for bicycle helmets for ages 5 and older and the ASTM standard for multi-impact skateboard helmets. Those certifications indicate the helmet has been tested against defined impact and retention criteria used in the U.S. market.

• CPSC-compliant for bicycle helmets for persons age 5+
• Also conforms to ASTM requirements for multi-impact skateboard helmets
• Constructed with a durable outer shell and energy-absorbing foam liner

How does the unique 3D hawk design affect day-to-day use?

The three-dimensional rubber mohawk gives the helmet a bold look that many kids enjoy, increasing the likelihood they’ll keep it on. The decorative element is molded to the shell so it won’t flap or detach during play, and it doesn’t compromise the helmet’s core structural components.

• Rubber 3D mohawk adds imaginative appeal without loose parts
• Printed graphics for a striking, durable finish
• Design aims to encourage consistent helmet use through fun styling

It’s especially suited for kids who resist standard helmets and for parents who prioritize both safety standards and a look their child will love.
