Rawlings Baseball Batting Gloves Workhorse Compression Strap — USA Medium, Full-Grain Leather

Rawlings Workhorse Compression Strap batting gloves are premium full-grain leather gloves with a 60 mm elastic compression strap designed to improve feel, control, and wrist support during batting.

Built from ultra-soft full-grain leather with a reinforced palm layer, these gloves combine traditional materials and modern details to withstand repeated use while keeping a clean, professional look. The design adds targeted stabilization through a wide compression strap, and features such as a neoprene cuff, Lycra back-of-hand, and silicone Topo pattern provide comfort, fit, and grip. Double stitching and rolled edges complete the construction for durability and a refined finish.

How do these gloves improve bat control and feel?

The premium ultra-soft full-grain leather delivers a close, responsive connection between hand and bat, improving tactile feedback on every swing. A second leather layer in the palm reinforces high-wear zones so the glove keeps its shape and grip longer.

• Full-grain leather for sensitive bat feel.
• Reinforced palm layer where contact and abrasion occur most.
• Rolled edges and double stitching to preserve leather integrity.

What does the 60 mm compression strap do for fit and stability?

The wide elastic compression strap wraps the wrist and lower hand for a snug, supportive fit without restricting motion. It helps reduce slippage and keeps the glove secure through full-swing mechanics, so adjustments between pitches are minimized.

• 60 mm elastic strap for consistent compression and stabilization.
• Embossed Topo pattern on the strap for grip and visual detail.
• Quick to adjust for a custom tension every time you put them on.

Which comfort and performance features ease long sessions at the plate?

Comfort features are layered into the glove to reduce hotspots and promote breathability while maintaining structure. A one-piece neoprene cuff and thumb increase comfort around the wrist, while a Lycra back-of-hand and silicone print add stretch, ventilation, and traction where you need it.

• One-piece neoprene cuff and thumb for cushioned wrist support.
• Lycra back-of-hand for flexible fit and airflow.
• Silicone Topo print enhances grip and tactile feedback.

How durable are these gloves for frequent play?

The combination of full-grain leather, a reinforced palm layer, and professional-grade construction details makes these gloves suitable for regular use. Double stitching and rolled edges resist fraying and help the gloves retain shape through repeated swings and cleanings.

• Reinforced palm prolongs life in high-abrasion areas.
• Double stitching prevents seam failure over time.
• Rolled edges maintain a tidy finish and reduce wear on seams.
