Designed for young hitters who want professional-level protection and a sleek look, the Rawlings MACH helmet brings MLB-inspired features to the youth game. The matte black finish gives a modern, low-glare appearance that looks at home in practices, games, and photo days.

How does this helmet protect young hitters?

The MACH helmet uses IMPAX foam throughout the interior to absorb and spread impact forces away from the skull, while the shell shape preserves the traditional coverage trusted in baseball. It meets NOCSAE standards, which sets baseline safety expectations for sport helmets. This combination of shell geometry and interior padding is designed to give players a secure fit and reliable protection behind the plate or at-bat.

• IMPAX foam lining cushions and distributes energy from impacts.
• Pro-style shell geometry extends coverage over temples and occipital area.
• NOCSAE-compliant construction meets established safety guidelines.

Will this helmet keep players comfortable and cool?

Rawlings optimized ventilation channels and a breathable interior to help manage heat and moisture during long innings and hot-weather seasons. The IMPAX foam is lightweight and conforms to the head, reducing pressure points while maintaining protective performance. Players will notice improved comfort without sacrificing structural rigidity.

• Vent ports positioned for airflow across the crown and temples.
• Lightweight IMPAX foam minimizes bulk and pressure hotspots.
• Matte finish reduces glare for clearer sightlines in bright conditions.

How do I know if the size fits my player?

This listing is for the junior size range designed to fit hat sizes 6 3/8" to 7 1/8". For a proper fit, measure the circumference of the head at the widest point above the eyebrows and compare to hat size. A snug but comfortable fit that doesn't shift with movement is what you want for both safety and comfort.

• Junior sizing: fits hat size 6 3/8"–7 1/8".
• Measure head circumference just above the eyebrows for accuracy.
• Helmet should sit level and remain stable during head motion.
