This compact handlebar basket converts your bike into a practical pet or shopping carrier without tools. Built from water‑resistant 600x600D oxford fabric wrapped around an oxidized aluminum frame and a reinforced plastic base, it balances lightweight portability with structure. Will this basket fit my bike’s handlebars?

The RAYMACE basket includes eight rubber handlebar gaskets to adapt to a wide range of tubes. It is designed for handlebars with diameters between 0.9 and 1.3 inches and requires at least 9.8 inches clearance from the handlebar to the front tire. Measure those two dimensions before ordering to ensure safe installation.

• Handlebar diameter compatibility: 0.9"–1.3"
• Minimum handlebar‑to‑tire clearance: >9.8"
• Includes 8 rubber gaskets to customize fit
• Tool‑free quick‑release mounting system for fast attachment

How much weight and what size can it safely carry?

This carrier provides a 13” x 10” x 10” interior frame and supports up to 11 pounds. It’s sized for small dogs, cats, groceries, or daily essentials; use the internal and external pockets to organize smaller items. The reinforced bottom panel distributes weight and helps protect the basket’s fabric from wear.

• Interior frame size: 13" x 10" x 10"
• Maximum load capacity: 11 lbs
• Built‑in internal and external pockets for small items

Is the basket secure for a small pet during rides?

RAYMACE added a safety tether specifically to keep pets from jumping or slipping out while you ride. The retractable top cover adds privacy and extra containment when needed, and the sturdy alloy frame resists deformation on everyday urban routes. Always use the tether and keep within the recommended weight limit for a safer trip.

• Exclusive pet tether to secure animals inside
• Retractable closure system for privacy and containment
• Oxidized aluminum frame for long‑term rigidity
• Water‑resistant fabric helps keep contents dry in light rain

How easy is it to install, remove, and store the basket?

The lockable quick‑release mount lets you attach or detach the basket in seconds without tools, making it practical for commuters and shoppers. When detached, the basket collapses down to about 2 inches tall to tuck into a closet or trunk. The lightweight construction keeps the overall system easy to lift on and off the bike.

• Quick‑release locking mechanism for fast install/remove
• Folds to approximately 2" height for compact storage
• Lightweight design suitable for daily use
• Easy to wipe clean thanks to oxford fabric and plastic base
