RDX Boxing Headgear — Ventilated Rear-Entry Sparring Helmet, Low-Profile Multi-Layer Padding (Black)

This RDX headguard is built for fighters who want durable, breathable protection during Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, karate, taekwondo, and general sparring. Constructed from ConvEX Skin Maya Hide leather and a three-layer foam system, it balances impact attenuation with a low-profile fit so you can keep sightlines clear while staying protected. Thoughtful ventilation, quick-drying lining and a rear-entry design make it easy to put on and comfortable for long sessions.

How does the multi-layered padding protect me during sparring?

The headgear uses three different foam layers—Polygonal Fusion foam, soft EVA, and an EVA-Lution sheet—to distribute and absorb impact forces. This combination preserves shape over time and reduces repeated compression better than single-layer foam designs, keeping padding performance consistent across sessions.

• Polygonal Fusion foam for initial shock dispersion
• Soft EVA layer for comfort and secondary absorption
• EVA-Lution sheet for structural resilience and long-term durability
• Layered construction maintains fit and protective profile

Will this headgear stay comfortable and cool during long workouts?

Yes—the top and side openings allow air to circulate around the head, and the anti-slip quick-dry lining wicks moisture to reduce sweat build-up. The breathable layout combined with low-bulk padding keeps you cooler than full-coverage helmets while still offering key protection.

• Open-top and side vents for airflow
• Quick-drying anti-slip lining reduces sweat irritation
• Low-profile fit limits heat retention
• Comfort-focused padding avoids pressure points

How adjustable is the headgear for different head shapes?

The RDX headguard features a rear-entry pull-over design with a top and rear hook-and-loop system plus an adjustable buckle strap for a tailored fit. These elements let you fine-tune tension around the crown and back of the head to prevent shifting during sparring or drilling.

• Rear-entry pull-over for easy on/off
• Top and back hook-and-loop straps for micro-adjustments
• Buckle strap secures the chin and jawline fit
• Works for a wide range of head sizes and hairstyles

What makes the exterior material suitable for training environments?

RDX uses ConvEX Skin Maya Hide leather on the outer shell to withstand repeated contact, scraping, and sweat exposure. The synthetic hide is easy to clean and resists cracking, so the headgear stays presentable and functional through frequent sessions.

• ConvEX Skin Maya Hide resists abrasion and impact wear
• Simple wipe-clean surface extends product life
• Stitched seams and reinforced edges reduce failure points
• Professional appearance suitable for gyms and competitions

Who is this for: The RDX Boxing Headgear is aimed at fighters and coaches who need a balance of protection, visibility, and comfort—ideal for amateur and pro-level sparring, Muay Thai clinch work, kickboxing drills, and mixed martial arts training. If you want a durable, ventilated helmet with straightforward adjustability and reliable multi-layer padding, this headguard is made to fit those needs without excessive bulk.
