Renegade GK Talon Cyclone 2 Youth Roll-Cut Goalkeeper Gloves Size 7 Black/Orange — 4mm Hyper Grip, Removable Pro-Tek Spines

Renegade GK Talon Cyclone 2 are roll-cut goalkeeper gloves with 4mm Hyper Grip latex, removable Pro-Tek finger spines, and a supportive Duratek backhand for youth and amateur players.

Built to deliver dependable grip, protection, and breathability without a pro-level price tag, the Talon Cyclone 2 balances features that matter to developing and recreational keepers. These gloves combine 4+3mm German Hyper Grip latex for consistent catch-and-hold, a 4mm Duratek backhand for impact absorption, and removable Pro-Tek finger spines to limit hyperextension. Thoughtful details—like a pre-arched palm, 180° thumb wrap, and 3D Airmesh unibody—improve comfort and handling across training sessions and matches.

How do these gloves improve grip and ball control?

The Talon Cyclone 2 uses premium 4+3mm German Hyper Grip latex across the palm for a tacky feel in varied conditions. A pre-arched palm and 180° thumb wrap expand the contact surface with the ball, making smothering catches easier and reducing unexpected slips.

• 4mm Hyper Grip main palm with 3mm reinforcement for durability.
• Pre-arched palm increases surface area for cleaner catches.
• 180° thumb wrap secures thumb contact and improves sealing grips.
• Recommended: wet palm slightly before play to refresh tackiness.

What protection features keep fingers and wrists safe?

Protection is layered: removable Pro-Tek finger spines resist backward bending, while a 4mm Duratek backhand absorbs impact from punches and blocked shots. The 8cm elastic cuff and 3mm 360° Duratek strap provide firm wrist support without restricting movement.

• Removable Pro-Tek fingersaves for customizable protection.
• 4mm Duratek backhand for punch and impact cushioning.
• 8cm elastic cuff plus 3mm 360° strap for secure wrist stability.
• Gloves allow spine removal if you prefer a softer feel or more flexibility.

How comfortable and breathable are the Talon Cyclone 2 gloves?

Comfort comes from the 3D Airmesh unibody that channels airflow across the hand and reduces internal heat buildup. The gloves use ergonomic cuts and pre-arched construction to fit naturally, making them suitable for extended training sessions.

• 3D Airmesh unibody improves ventilation and reduces sweat buildup.
• Pre-arched design reduces palm fatigue and enhances natural grip shaping.
• Available in roll, negative, and flat cuts to match different hand shapes.
• Machine-care tip: wash and air-dry every two weeks to preserve materials.

Which play levels and situations are these gloves best suited for?

The Talon Cyclone 2 is designed for youth and amateur keepers who want high-value performance for training and matchdays. They strike a practical balance between tackiness, protection, and durability—especially useful for players stepping up from basic gloves.

• Ideal for youth players, beginners, and recreational adult keepers.
• Good for training and match use across different weather conditions.
• Often recommended where protection and grip matter without pro pricing.
• Pro tip: avoid diving directly onto hard turf to extend palm life.
