Retrospec Apollo Front Bike Basket — Quick-Release Steel Half-Mesh, Built-In Handle (9.5"×7.5"×14")

The Retrospec Apollo is a quick-release steel front bike basket with a half-mesh body, integrated detachable hooks, and a built-in handle so you can snap it on your bike and carry it off in seconds.

Designed for riders who need hands-free cargo on short trips, the Apollo turns nearly any bicycle into a practical runabout. Its weather-resistant steel frame and half-mesh sides keep small items from falling through while staying light enough to remove and carry. No tools are required for installation, and the ergonomic handle converts the basket into a convenient tote once you’re off the bike.

How does the Apollo attach and detach so quickly?

Attachment relies on integrated snap hooks that lock onto standard front racks or handlebar mounts, letting you mount the basket in seconds. The same hooks release cleanly so you can lift the basket away without fiddling with bolts or hardware.

• Tool-free snap-on hooks for fast mounting
• Secure lock points to prevent wobble while riding
• Quick-release action for easy removal at destination

Will small items stay inside while I ride?

The Apollo uses a half-mesh construction that balances airflow with containment, keeping keys, phone, snacks, and other small items from slipping through wide gaps. The raised steel rim and mesh sides add containment without adding excessive weight.

• Half-mesh paneling to secure tiny items
• Raised rim prevents low-profile objects from falling out
• Open top for easy access to belongings while stopped

Is the basket durable enough for daily use and different weather?

Built from weather-resistant steel, the Apollo withstands routine exposure to rain, sun, and urban wear. The finish resists corrosion, and the robust frame keeps its shape under everyday loads like groceries, a backpack, or library books.

• Weather-resistant steel frame for lasting use
• Reinforced rim and mounting points for stability
• Designed for everyday errands and commuter use

What are the basket’s dimensions and compatibility with bikes?

The basket measures 9.5" x 7.5" x 14", a compact footprint that suits most city bikes, cruisers, and commuter setups. Its mounting system adapts to many front racks and handlebar mounts, making it a versatile option across bike types.

• Measures 9.5" (width) x 7.5" (height) x 14" (depth)
• Fits most bicycle models, including cruisers and commuters
• Works with common front-mount rack and handlebar attachments

Who is this for? The Retrospec Apollo is ideal for casual riders, students, and urban commuters who need a no-fuss storage solution for short errands: snap it on for a grocery run, carry it into class with the built-in handle, or stash your everyday items securely while you ride. If you want a durable, easy-to-remove basket that keeps small items contained, the Apollo offers practical utility without complicated assemblies or bulky hardware.
