Retrospec Solana 1/2" Thick TPE Yoga Mat 72x24 – Non-Slip, Cushioned Support with Carry Strap

The Retrospec Solana yoga mat is a half-inch thick, high-density TPE exercise mat that delivers cushioned support and a non-slip surface for yoga, pilates, and floor workouts.

Whether you practice gentle stretches or high-energy flows, the Solana mat combines substantial padding with a textured, grippy finish to protect joints and stabilize positions. Sized at 72" x 24" x 1/2", this lightweight mat is built to resist everyday wear and includes a nylon carrying strap for easy transport and storage. Its TPE construction is free from BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, and latex, and it wipes clean quickly so you can keep workouts hygienic.

How does the Solana mat improve comfort during floor exercises?

The extra 1/2" thickness cushions pressure points like knees, hips, and wrists, helping you hold poses longer and move through transitions with less discomfort. The firm yet resilient foam maintains shape under weight, giving a stable platform for balancing and seated stretches.

• 72" x 24" surface area for ample space during practice
• 1/2" high-density TPE foam reduces joint pressure
• Firm support that resists bottoming out during poses

Will the Solana mat keep me from slipping during sweaty sessions?

Yes — the Solana's textured TPE surface is engineered to provide traction whether you’re moving slowly or flowing quickly. The grippy finish helps your hands and feet stay planted so you can focus on alignment and breath rather than readjusting your stance.

• Non-slip texture for secure footing in varied poses
• Performs well in low- and moderate-sweat conditions
• Stability that supports balance-focused exercises

How durable and easy to maintain is this exercise mat?

Constructed from durable TPE, the Solana is designed for regular use at home, in studios, or on the go. Cleaning is straightforward: wipe with mild soap and water, then hang to dry; avoid submerging the mat to preserve material integrity.

• TPE material resists tearing and compressive wear
• Simple cleaning routine keeps it fresh between sessions
• Included nylon strap helps roll and store the mat compactly

Is the Solana mat safe and eco-conscious?

The Solana is made without common harmful additives: it contains no BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, or latex. New mats occasionally emit a mild factory scent; airing the mat for a day or two usually dissipates any odor before use.

• BPA-, phthalate-, heavy metal-, and latex-free formulation
• Low-odor materials that lessen after initial airing
• Quality construction suitable for repeated workouts

Who is this for: The Retrospec Solana mat is ideal for anyone seeking extra cushioning without sacrificing stability — beginner yogis who need joint protection, active practitioners wanting a supportive surface for longer sessions, and home workout enthusiasts who value durability and easy care. If you prefer a portable, thick mat that balances comfort and grip for yoga, pilates, stretching, or core work, the Solana is engineered to meet those needs while remaining simple to clean and carry.
