Roller Derby Kids Convertible Quad and Inline Skates — Black/Blue, Push-Button Size Adjust, Beginner-Friendly

The Roller Derby Falcon is a kids' convertible skate that quickly transforms between quad and inline setups and grows up to four shoe sizes.

These Falcon skates combine two skating styles in a single pair of supportive, adjustable boots so kids can try both quad and inline with one purchase. The black-and-blue boots include a push-button sizing system and swap-able frames that attach with hex bolts, making it easy to change configurations as skills or preferences evolve. Built for beginners, the Falcon delivers stability, control and smooth rolling thanks to urethane wheels and Silver-5 bearings.

How does the conversion between quad and inline work?

Switching from quads to inline takes only a few minutes using the two included Allen wrenches. Each frame is secured by bolts that you remove and reinstall; no special tools or professional help are required. The system is designed to be repeatable so families can change setups as often as they like.

• Frames change using two Allen wrenches included with skates
• Bolt-on mounting keeps frames solid during use
• Repeatable conversion for practice or variety

What safety and control features help beginners learn confidently?

The Falcon pairs a supportive, beginner-friendly boot with features that improve balance and braking. Quad configuration provides low, stable stance with true trucks for easy turning, while the inline setup includes a non-marking brake on the right skate for predictable stops. Cushioned ankle support and a secure closure system help keep feet steady.

• Quad trucks offer stable, responsive turning
• Inline right-boot brake for controlled stopping
• Padded, supportive boot for beginner comfort

Are these wheels and bearings suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

Yes. The Falcon comes with durable urethane wheels that grip both smooth indoor floors and typical outdoor surfaces, paired with Silver-5 bearings for consistent rolling performance. That combination balances traction and speed so kids can practice in rinks, on driveways or at skateparks with confidence.

• Urethane wheels designed for indoor/outdoor use
• Silver-5 bearings for smooth, reliable rolling
• Wheel setup tuned for beginner control and fun

How does the adjustable sizing work and what sizes are covered?

The boot includes a push-button adjustment that expands the shell to accommodate growing feet — no inserts required. Each size range fits typical U.S. kids' shoe sizes and is intended to deliver a true fit so you can choose the correct starting size for immediate wear and months of growth.

• Push-button growth system extends up to four sizes
• Medium fits U.S. shoe sizes 3 to 6; Small fits 12 to 2
• Fits true to children's U.S. shoe sizing
