Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Optical Swim Goggles Smoke -7 Prescription, Panoramic Lenses & Low-Profile Racing Fit

Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Optical Swim Goggle in Smoke with -7 prescription lenses is a low‑profile racing goggle designed for clear vision and a secure fit during training and competition.

The Vanquisher 2.0 Optical builds on Speedo's best‑selling race goggle silhouette, adding prescription optics and enhanced peripheral sight for swimmers who need vision correction in the pool. These goggles combine a slim racing profile with panoramic lenses, cushioned silicone seals, multiple nose bridges, and a split head strap to stay snug under caps and during flip turns. The smoke tint reduces glare for bright pool environments while the -7 power corrects moderate nearsightedness.

How do these goggles improve sight and awareness in the water?

The panoramic lenses increase side vision compared with standard racing goggles, helping you track lane lines and competitors without turning your head. The smoke tint cuts surface glare in indoor and outdoor pools, while the optical -7 lenses deliver continuous, corrected focus underwater.

• Wide panoramic lens geometry for expanded peripheral view
• Smoke tint to reduce reflective glare and bright highlights
• Built‑in -7 prescription optics for clear underwater vision

What features ensure a secure, comfortable fit during training and racing?

The Vanquisher 2.0 uses cushioned silicone seals that sit gently against the skin to reduce pressure and help prevent leaks. A double (split) head strap allows even tension distribution and quick adjustments, so the goggles remain stable through starts, turns, and dives.

• Cushioned silicone seals for comfort and a watertight fit
• Split head strap for balanced hold and simple micro‑adjustment
• Low‑profile frame to minimize drag and interference with caps

How do the interchangeable nose pieces affect fit and performance?

The package includes four nose-piece sizes so swimmers can fine‑tune the eye spacing for a leak‑resistant seal and optimal optical alignment. Changing the nose bridge adjusts goggle position without needing different frames, which is useful for athletes sharing goggles or adapting to small fit shifts.

• Four nose‑piece options to customize eye spacing and comfort
• Quick interchange without tools for rapid fit adjustments
• Helps achieve a consistent seal across different face shapes

Will these goggles work in both indoor and outdoor pools?

Yes — the smoke‑tinted panoramic lenses balance glare reduction and color contrast, making them versatile across light conditions. For extremely low‑light indoor sessions you might prefer a clear lens, but smoke works well for most bright indoor pools and sunny outdoor lanes.

• Smoke tint reduces glare from bright water and overhead lights
• Panoramic design preserves contrast and spatial cues in varying light
• Durable construction for frequent training and race use

Who is this for: Competitive swimmers, triathletes, and dedicated masters or club athletes who need prescription correction in the pool and prefer a low‑profile racing goggle. It’s suited to swimmers who value peripheral awareness, a secure split strap fit, and the convenience of interchangeable nose bridges. If you require a different prescription strength or a specialized lens tint for very low light, check Speedo’s optical options or consult a retailer for other powers.
