STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair S2 walking cane with seat 32.2" Blue — lightweight aluminium, 136 kg capacity

STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair S2 is a lightweight walking cane that snaps open into a stable, single-seat chair for quick rests during walks, hikes, or outdoor events.

The Ta-Da Chair Series 2 combines a supportive hiking stick with a compact folding seat so you can pause and rest without carrying a separate stool. Designed for active outdoor users who need intermittent seating and steady support, the S2 model (32.2") fits users approximately 4'11" to 5'3" and balances portability with strength. Built from aircraft-grade aluminum and tested to meet European EN 581 and Taiwan CNS 15192 standards, this blue cane-chair is engineered for reliable performance on trails, sidewalks, and at outdoor gatherings.

How does the Ta-Da Chair S2 convert from cane to chair?

The Ta-Da Chair S2 uses a quick-release snap mechanism that unfolds the cane into a tripod-style single seat. Conversion takes seconds and requires no tools, so you can sit down the moment you need a break.

• Simple snap-open action for fast setup.
• Folded length remains compact for easy carry in packs or by hand.
• Secure locking points hold the seat firmly in place when opened.

What makes the handle and seat comfortable for extended use?

The ergonomic handle is shaped with tilt angles and a textured grain to improve grip and reduce hand fatigue while walking. The seat on Series 2 is wider than many competitor models, offering a more comfortable perch when you need a stable pause.

• Ergonomically contoured handle for secure, low-effort grip.
• Larger seat area than comparable cane-chairs for better comfort.
• Designed so you sit facing the handle, which improves balance and control.

How durable and portable is the STEP2GOLD S2 chair-cane?

Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the S2 weighs under 2.2 lbs yet supports up to 300 lbs (136 kg). Its reinforced dual-structure design boosts stability without adding bulk, making it suitable for travel, day hikes, or urban use.

• Lightweight: under 2.2 pounds for easy carrying.
• Load capacity: rated to 300 lbs (136 kg).
• Reinforced frame meets EN 581 and CNS 15192 safety standards.

Will the S2 work on different surfaces and how is stability ensured?

The Ta-Da Chair S2 uses oversized anti-slip rubber feet with a spiral tread to improve traction and water drainage on uneven or wet ground. Replacement foot kits are available so you can keep performance consistent over long-term use.

• Large rubber feet increase contact area for steadier seating.
• Spiral tread design aids grip and channeling of moisture.
• Replacement Rubber Feet Kit sold separately for easy maintenance.
