STIGA Evolution table tennis paddle – 6-ply light blade, 2mm sponge, high-speed spin/control

The STIGA Evolution Performance paddle is a tournament-ready, 6-ply lightweight table tennis racket engineered for high speed, strong spin, and precise control.

The Evolution blends multiple STIGA innovations—Shock Dispersion Tube (SDT), Nano Composite, ACS, Crystal, and WRB technologies—into a single ready-to-play racket. Designed with a 6-ply blade and a 2mm sponge rubber, it targets players who want a fast, responsive feel without sacrificing touch. Performance ratings list Speed 96, Spin 94, and Control 90, positioning this paddle for aggressive yet accurate play.

How does the paddle deliver more speed without losing feel?

The STIGA Evolution pairs a hardened crystal-treated blade with ACS-enhanced rubber to generate faster ball rebound while maintaining elasticity. The WRB system rebalances weight and improves recovery, so fast rallies remain manageable.

• 6-ply light blade construction for quick acceleration.
• Crystal Technology hardens the blade surface for increased rebound.
• ACS (micro air capsules) adds elasticity for lively returns.
• WRB improves balance and recovery between shots.

What technologies improve control and reduce vibration?

STIGA's Shock Dispersion Tube (SDT) reduces handle vibrations by directing shock away from the hand, producing a cleaner feel on contact. Nano Composite bonding in the rubber creates a denser, more consistent surface for dependable ball placement and spin control.

• SDT redirects and absorbs impact energy for a steadier touch.
• Nano Composite forms tighter rubber bonds for consistent response.
• 2mm sponge height balances speed and controlled dwell time.
• Precision-assembled ply layout enlarges the effective sweet spot.

Which player styles benefit most from this racket?

The Evolution is aimed at offensive and allround attackers who demand high speed and spin but still need reliable control in exchanges. Its rapid recovery and sensitive feedback make it suitable for quick loop drives, topspin rallies, and fast counterattacks.

• Attacking players seeking high-speed stroke options.
• Advanced club players upgrading to tournament-grade gear.
• Competitors who prioritize spin generation without losing control.
• Players wanting a lightweight blade for faster wrist action.

How is the paddle built and what are the key specs?

The paddle combines Ayous, Awan, and Kiri woods in a precisely layered 6-ply blade, topped with STIGA’s ITTF-approved smooth inverted rubber and a 2mm sponge. These elements together create the balance of speed, spin, and touch reflected in the stated performance ratings.

• Blade: 6-ply Ayous/Awan/Kiri composition for lightness and strength.
• Rubber: Nano Composite + ACS treated inverted rubber, ITTF-approved.
• Sponge: 2mm thickness for controlled dwell and power transfer.
• Performance ratings: Speed 96, Spin 94, Control 90.
