TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls — Blue Stripe 1 Dozen, Soft Urethane Feel & 360° Alignment

TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls, blue stripe, are a three-layer, urethane-coated ball engineered to deliver a soft feel, responsive short-game spin and a bold 360° alignment stripe for easier setup on the course.

These Tour Response balls combine a larger, energy-focused core and a softer mantle with a thin urethane microcoating to balance distance, feel and greenside control. The vivid neon 360° stripe not only improves visibility but provides a continuous visual reference that helps you aim and roll putts more consistently. Offered in a one-dozen pack with a distinctive blue stripe, they’re built to suit players who want tour-inspired performance without the tour price tag.

How do these balls help me align and see my shots better?

The Tour Response features a continuous 360° high-contrast stripe printed in neon ink that wraps around the ball. That stripe doubles as a long alignment guide for putting and a visibility aid when tracking ball flight. The design reduces guesswork when setting up to the ball and makes it easier to confirm intended target lines.

• 22mm continuous stripe for visual alignment during setup and putting
• Neon ink improves visibility in varied lighting
• 360° coverage gives the same reference regardless of ball orientation

What construction features affect distance, spin and feel?

TaylorMade engineered a larger core to increase COR (coefficient of restitution) for added ball speed off the driver, while a softer mantle layer helps moderate spin and enhance feel. The thin urethane microcoating allows the dimple pattern to behave consistently shot after shot and preserves a responsive surface for greenside control. Altogether, the three-layer build aims to balance long-game distance and short-game precision.

• Increased core size for improved ball speed and distance
• Softer hybrid cover and mantle for spin control and feel
• Thin urethane microcoating for consistent aerodynamic and surface performance

Will these balls perform well around the greens and on wedge shots?

The soft hybrid urethane cover is formulated to generate more bite on short shots, giving better stopping power on approach shots and chips. The coating and cover combination helps deliver predictable spin rates on wedge strikes, which supports tighter control near the hole without sacrificing a soft feel at impact.

• Urethane-coated soft hybrid cover for increased short-game spin
• Microcoating helps maintain consistent paint and surface interaction with grooves
• Designed to offer tour-style control on chips and pitches

How does this ball suit everyday golfers compared to tour models?

Tour Response is positioned to provide many of the play characteristics found in higher-end tour balls—soft feel, spin control and distance—while being accessible for regular players. The construction aims to bridge the gap between premium tour options and more forgiving two-piece balls, making it a practical choice for golfers who want better performance without a steep price premium.

• Three-layer construction for an approachable blend of distance and feel
• Performance-focused features without tour-only pricing
• Suitable for players who want upgraded playability from everyday balls

Who is this for: Golfers seeking a balanced ball that emphasizes alignment, soft feel and short-game control—especially those who value a visible alignment aid and want a tour-style three-layer construction without moving up to premium tour-priced options. Ideal for competent to low-handicap players who still appreciate forgiveness and clear visual cues on the putting green.
