Tommy Bahama Hi-Boy Beach Chair — Logo Stripe, 4-Position Recline, Backpack Straps & Cushioned Headrest

The Tommy Bahama 4-Position Hi-Boy Beach Chair in Logo Stripe is an extended-height, lightweight folding chair with backpack straps, four reclining positions, and built-in storage for hands-free, all-day outdoor comfort.

Designed for beach days, concerts, and campsite lounging, this Hi-Boy chair combines travel-friendly portability with a taller seat and cushioned head support. A rust-proof aluminum frame keeps the weight low while staying durable in humid or coastal environments. Thoughtful touches — like SAFE-ADJUST wooden armrests, a flip-over plush pillow, and a seat-side storage pouch — make it easy to relax without fumbling for belongings.

How does the chair make carrying gear easier?

The chair includes adjustable backpack-style shoulder straps so you can keep your hands free while walking across sand, park grounds, or from the parking lot. Its 9 lb frame is light enough for most users to carry comfortably for short distances.

• Backpack straps with adjustable fit for balanced transport
• Lightweight, rust-proof aluminum frame weighs only 9 lbs
• Compact fold size fits into trunks and storage areas

What comfort features support longer sitting sessions?

The Hi-Boy’s flexible suspension seat conforms to body contours for extended comfort and helps reduce pressure points. An extended-height backrest and an included flip-over plush pillow provide neck and head support, ideal for taller users or anyone who prefers a higher seating position.

• Flexible suspension design that adapts to body shape
• Flip-over plush pillow for head and neck support
• Extended seat height of 17" off the ground for easier sitting and standing

How adjustable and safe is the recline mechanism?

The chair offers four recline positions so you can sit upright, relax, or recline back for a nap. SAFE-ADJUST technology built into the wooden armrests reduces the chance of pinching when changing positions, making adjustments smoother and safer for all ages.

• Four distinct reclining settings for customized comfort
• Wooden armrests with SAFE-ADJUST to prevent finger pinches
• Sturdy locking points to hold selected recline positions

What storage and convenience features are included?

The Hi-Boy keeps essentials close at hand with a zippered seat-side pouch, dedicated cell phone pocket, and an integrated cup holder. These compartments prevent small items from getting lost in the sand and keep beverages stable while you relax.

• Zippered side pouch for keys, sunscreen, or snacks
• Phone pocket sized for modern smartphones
• Built-in cup holder to secure drinks while reclining
