TYR Big Mesh Mummy Backpack – 40L Ventilated Swim Gear Bag, Grey with Front Pocket

Built for swimmers, lifeguards and athletes who juggle wet equipment, this roomy TYR mesh backpack keeps bulky fins, kickboards, towels and accessories together and ventilated so damp items don’t sit in a closed compartment. The lightweight polyester mesh sheds water, the drawstring mouth opens quickly, and an exterior zip pocket plus a bottle sleeve help organize the small things you need between sets.

How much gear can this bag actually carry?

The TYR Big Mesh Mummy Backpack offers a generous 40-liter interior that handles multiple towels, a pair of fins, a kickboard and extra apparel without crowding. Its single large cavity compresses wet items while letting air move freely through the mesh.

• 40L main compartment holds swim training equipment and clothing
• Open mesh fits oddly shaped items like fins and kickboards
• Drawstring closure allows quick packing and release

Will wet gear dry faster inside this bag?

The open-weave polyester mesh encourages airflow around damp items, reducing trapped moisture compared with solid fabric bags. That ventilation helps lower lingering odors and shortens the time equipment stays damp after pool or beach sessions.

• Breathable mesh promotes evaporation and airflow
• Polyester resists water retention for lighter carry after use
• Design reduces mildew risk compared with non-vented bags

What organization and carrying features does it include?

Beyond the main compartment, this TYR bag includes a front zip pocket for goggles, swim caps, keys or small essentials, plus an external water bottle holder for hands-free hydration. Comfortable adjustable shoulder straps and barrel-lock drawstrings let you tailor the fit and access your gear quickly between practices.

• Front zip pocket secures small accessories and valuables
• Exterior bottle sleeve keeps drinks separate from wet items
• Adjustable over-the-shoulder straps for a customizable fit
• Barrel-lock on drawstring for fast open/close control

Can this bag be used outside of swimming?

Yes — its lightweight, ventilated construction and roomy capacity make the TYR mesh backpack useful for gym sessions, beach days, and general travel where damp or bulky items are involved. It performs well as a multipurpose carry solution whenever breathability and quick access matter.

• Great for gym clothes, beach towels, or wet washcloths
• Lightweight for daily carry or travel packing
• Durable mesh stands up to repeated use around water
