TYR Competition Swim Goggles Black Ops 140 EV Smoke/Mint — 140° Peripheral Vision, Anti-Fog

The TYR Women’s Black Ops 140 EV are low‑profile competition goggles with wide 140° peripheral lenses, Durafit silicone gaskets, anti‑fog coating and four interchangeable nosebridges for a tailored, secure fit.

Designed for competitive swimmers and serious trainers, these goggles combine a hydrodynamic silhouette with broad vision and a comfortable seal. The smoke/mint lens option reduces glare outdoors while preserving contrast, and the polycarbonate construction balances durability with lightweight performance for repeated starts, turns and long practice sessions.

How do these goggles reduce drag in races and fast workouts?

The Black Ops 140 EV uses a low‑profile racing shape that sits close to the face to minimize water resistance. The streamlined frame and compact strap placement help maintain a tight, slip‑resistant set even during dives and flip turns.

• Low‑profile frame engineered for reduced frontal area
• Secure strap design keeps goggles stable at high speed
• Durafit silicone gaskets conform to facial contours for a flush seal
• Lightweight polycarbonate lenses cut weight without sacrificing strength

What vision and protection do the polycarbonate lenses provide?

Polycarbonate lenses deliver a wide 140° peripheral view so you can track lanes, walls and competitors without excessive head movement. They include anti‑fog treatment for clearer sightlines in training and meets and full UVA/UVB protection for outdoor swims.

• Wide 140° peripheral range for broader situational awareness
• Anti‑fog coating reduces condensation during long sets
• Full UVA/UVB protection suitable for outdoor pools and open water
• Smoke tint lowers glare while maintaining pool contrast

How does the fit stay customized for different face shapes?

These goggles include four interchangeable nosebridge sizes so you can fine‑tune the eye spacing for a comfortable, leak‑resistant fit. Combined with soft Durafit silicone gaskets and an adjustable split strap, the system lets you lock in a personalized fit for racing or daily practice.

• Four removable nosebridge options for precise eye spacing
• Durafit silicone gaskets conform to facial curves without pinching
• Adjustable split strap provides even pressure and stability
• Compact, low‑profile assembly suited to competitive starts and turns

Are these goggles durable enough for frequent use?

Constructed from tough polycarbonate and silicone components, the Black Ops 140 EV is built to withstand repeated pool sessions and travel. The anti‑fog coating and mirrored or non‑mirrored lens options keep performance steady when cared for properly.

• Polycarbonate lenses resist impact and scratching during normal use
• Durafit silicone is long‑lasting and comfortable over many hours
• Replaceable nosebridges extend usability for multiple swimmers
• Simple maintenance—rinse and air dry to preserve anti‑fog performance

It’s a good choice for outdoor meets thanks to UV protection and smoke tinting, and the interchangeable nosebridges make it adaptable for a wide range of face shapes and fit preferences.
