UCO Pac-Flat Reflector for Candle Lanterns — Silver 2-Pack, Flat-Pack Aluminium, Directional Light

The UCO Pac-Flat Reflector is a two-piece aluminum hat that snaps together and slips over compatible candle lanterns to concentrate light downward for task-focused illumination.

When you need to turn an open-flame lantern into a directional light source, the Pac-Flat Reflector offers a compact solution. Made from thin, durable aluminum, the reflector converts ambient 360° candle glow into a focused beam beneath the lantern—helpful when lighting a tent floor, picnic tabletop, or a specific campsite task area. Its flat-pack two-piece design stores easily alongside other lightweight camp gear and fits several UCO candle lantern models.

How does the Pac-Flat Reflector change the lantern's light pattern?

By capturing and redirecting light that would normally spread outward, the reflector channels illumination downward where it’s most useful. This improves visibility on surfaces beneath the lantern without adding extra fuel or battery power. The reflective metal surface enhances brightness and minimizes wasted ambient glow.

• Snaps over the lantern top to block lateral light and aim output downwards
• Aluminum surface boosts effective brightness on the directed area
• Reduces glare and light spill for more focused illumination

Which lanterns and situations is the reflector compatible with?

The Pac-Flat is designed to work with UCO Original-style candle lanterns, including Original, Original + LED, Micro, and Mini models. It’s intended for low-light, close-range tasks rather than long-distance signaling. Typical uses include tents, cooking tables, reading spots, and work surfaces at campsites.

• Compatible with Original, Original + LED, Micro, and Mini UCO candle lanterns
• Best for illuminating tent interiors, picnic tables, or small work areas
• Not a substitute for high-output flashlights or lanterns for wide-area lighting

How easy is it to install, store, and carry in the field?

Installation is tool-free and fast: the two halves click together and slide over the top of your candle lantern. After use, the reflector separates into two flat pieces that pack into slim compartments or pockets. Its lightweight aluminum construction keeps pack weight negligible.

• Two-piece assembly snaps together quickly without tools
• Flat-pack design separates for compact storage and transport
• Lightweight aluminum keeps overall carry weight minimal

What materials and durability can you expect from the Pac-Flat?

Fabricated from thin aluminum, the reflector balances reflectivity with portability. It resists corrosion in typical outdoor conditions and tolerates repeated assembly and stowage. While sturdy for campsite use, it should be stored away from sharp objects to prevent bending.

• Aluminum construction provides reflective surface and low weight
• Designed for repeated field use but handle to avoid deformation
• Pairs with candle lanterns—no electronics or batteries required

Who this is for: The UCO Pac-Flat Reflector is ideal for campers, backpackers with stove-side or tent lighting needs, picnickers who want focused table illumination, and anyone who uses UCO candle lanterns for close-range tasks. It's a lightweight, inexpensive accessory for people who prefer simple, fuel-free lighting solutions and want to concentrate available light without switching to heavier gear.
