USGI Industries Bivy Tent – Lightweight Single-Person Pop-Open Bivy (Dark Earth), Mesh Ventilation & Water-Resistant Floor

The USGI Industries Bivy Tent is a lightweight, self‑deploying single‑person sleeping system that combines insect‑mesh ventilation, a water‑resistant floor, and fast pop‑open setup for camping, backpacking, and emergency use.

This compact bivy packs modern convenience into a rugged, travel‑ready design. Built for solo adventurers, it balances low bulk and quick setup with protection from bugs and wet ground. The pop‑open frame deploys instantly, mesh panels keep airflow moving, and the water‑resistant floor reduces dampness on humid nights. The tent is offered in a subdued dark earth color that blends into outdoor environments for hunting, hiking, or tactical use.

How quickly does the bivy set up when you arrive at camp?

Setup takes seconds: release the bivy from its storage bag and let the internal spring tension frame open. Stake the corners and run a few small adjustments to secure the dual‑fly system. Note the product includes under‑tension components—keep clear of face and body when deploying.

• Instant self‑deploying frame—no pole assembly required
• Compact 18-inch storage bag for easy transport
• Warning: contains spring tension parts—deploy safely

Will this bivy keep me dry and bug‑free overnight?

Yes—combining a water‑resistant floor and full mesh upper panels, the bivy limits water ingress from wet ground while keeping insects out. The dual‑layer design and ventilation reduce condensation and maintain comfort without trapping bugs inside.

• Wet ground resistant floor prevents moisture seepage
• Fine mesh panels block insects while allowing airflow
• Dual rain fly loops for added weather coverage

Is there room for gear and how convenient is the interior layout?

The interior is designed for a single sleeper with thoughtful storage points and a roomy footprint for a sleeping pad. Pockets and attachment loops help organize small items so your essentials stay within reach during the night.

• Inside bottle/accessory mesh pouch for phones, water, or headlamps
• Dual‑slider zipper and single entrance for easy access
• Internal dimensions: 83" long, 30" wide, 23" tall—fits most pads

How does it pack and travel—can it go in luggage or a backpack?

The bivy collapses into a small footprint that fits most suitcases and larger daypacks, making it suitable for road trips or airline travel. Its pop‑open design means minimal assembly time at your destination and quick breakdown when you’re ready to move on.

• Folds into an 18‑inch portable storage bag
• Lightweight construction for backpacking and travel
• Stakes and compact components included for field setup
