The WATERFLY Lightweight Packable Hiking Backpack is a 30L ultralight, foldable daypack built from water-resistant, tear-resistant nylon and designed for travel, hiking, and everyday carry.

This compact 30-liter pack unfolds to a full-size daypack yet folds down to sandwich-pocket dimensions for easy storage in luggage or another bag. At only 420 g, the WATERFLY backpack balances carrying capacity with minimal weight, and features multiple compartments, breathable straps, and a tear- and water-resistant shell for reliable everyday and outdoor use.

How much can this backpack hold and how is it organized?

The 30L main compartment accommodates a day’s worth of gear, while a handful of pockets keep items organized and accessible. Thoughtful pocket placement separates wet or sweaty items from dry gear and provides a hidden pocket for valuables.

• Main zipped compartment for clothing, snacks, and a light jacket
• Zipped front pocket for keys, wallet, and quick-access items
• Two side pockets for water bottles or compact umbrellas
• Internal wet pocket accessed via a rear zipper for swimsuits or damp towels
• Hidden pouch for valuables and packable storage when folded

How portable and packable is the WATERFLY daypack?

This pack was designed to fold into its own small pocket so it can live in luggage or a larger bag until needed. The folded dimensions are compact enough for a suitcase or commuter bag without adding bulk or much weight.

• Unfolded dimensions: 19.3 x 12.5 x 8.6 inches (full 30L capacity)
• Folded pocket size: 7.5 x 7.9 x 1.97 inches for compact storage
• Weight: approximately 420 g, keeping carry load light
• Durable SBS zippers and reinforced stress points for repeated folding

What comfort and convenience features help on long walks or travel days?

Comfort-focused elements reduce heat and strain while small conveniences keep electronics and accessories usable on the go. The design balances breathability with practical utility pockets for charging and wet items.

• S-shaped breathable shoulder straps reduce pressure and allow airflow
• Adjustable chest buckle improves load distribution and stability
• Cable hole and internal pocket for a power bank or cable routing while charging
• Side buckle rated for low temperatures to hold gear secure in cold conditions

How weather-resistant and durable is the material?

The exterior uses high-quality tear- and water-resistant nylon to fend off light rain and everyday abrasion. Reinforced stitching at stress points plus sturdy SBS zippers increase the pack’s usable life under travel and outdoor use.

• Water-resistant nylon repels splashes and light rain
• Tear-resistant fabric reduces rips from snagging or rough handling
• Reinforcements at critical seams and zipper attachments
• Durable hardware designed for frequent packing and unpacking
