WEKAPO Beach Blanket 7'x2.1 m Sandproof Waterproof Nylon Mat — Extra Large, Ripstop & Anchors

WEKAPO Beach Blanket is a 7'x7' sandproof, water-resistant nylon mat designed to keep sand and moisture off your spot while packing down small for travel. This lightweight, ripstop-nylon blanket gives you a roomy, sand-free surface for the beach, park, campsite or backyard. Built with reinforced stitching, four corner pockets that double as anchors and five metal stakes, it’s intended to be both roomy for up to three adults and simple to set up. The fabric sheds sand and water quickly, and the whole blanket folds into a compact pouch so you can carry it in a tote or backpack.

How does this blanket keep sand and water away?

The WEKAPO uses tightly woven ripstop nylon that resists sand infiltration and lets water bead and run off. A quick shake removes most sand; any remaining moisture evaporates fast thanks to the breathable fabric.

• Ripstop nylon surface that prevents sand embedding
• Water beads on contact and dries quickly
• Triple-stitched seams for long-lasting edge integrity
• Shake-and-go cleanup—no brushing required

Can it stay put on windy days or uneven sand?

Yes—WEKAPO is designed with practical anchoring in mind. Four corner pockets accept sand or act as tie-down points, and the included metal stakes let you secure the blanket on exposed beaches or firm ground.

• Four corner anchor pockets for sand weights or tethering
• Five metal stakes supplied (one spare for convenience)
• Simple layout eliminates protruding sand pockets for cleaner edges
• Works on both sand and grassy surfaces

How large is the blanket and what activities is it best for?

At 7'x7' (210 x 210 cm) the blanket offers enough space for one to three adults to sit or lounge with room for toys, towels or picnic items. Its multifunctional design makes it useful for beach days, picnics, camping, outdoor events, or backyard lounging.

• Generous 7'x7' footprint fits family seating or multiple towels
• Lightweight and compact when folded into its pouch
• Also suitable as a picnic mat, camping groundsheet, or play area
• Machine-washable or hand-cleanable for easy maintenance

What build quality and extras come with the blanket?

WEKAPO prioritizes durability with triple-stitched seams and ripstop fabric to resist tears from regular outdoor use. The blanket ships with a storage pouch and metal stakes, and the design includes functional pockets at each corner to extend usefulness beyond simple coverage.

• Triple-stitched edges for reinforced durability
• Durable ripstop nylon resists tearing and abrasion
• Storage pouch keeps the blanket compact and travel-ready
• Includes five metal stakes for secure anchoring
