WILSON A700 Youth 12.5-inch Outfield Baseball Glove - Right-Hand Throw, Full-Grain Leather, Black/Silver/Orange

The WILSON A700 12.5" Outfield Baseball Glove is a youth-focused, full-grain leather mitt built for right-hand throwers who need durable reach and dependable pocket control in the outfield.

Designed for young players learning to track fly balls and drive-line plays, this 2024 A700 model combines a reinforced single post web and full-grain leather construction to deliver a glove that feels game-ready from the first play. The 12.5-inch size balances reach with control, while the black, silver, and orange colorway offers a modern look that stands out on grass and turf.

How does the A700 help young outfielders catch fly balls consistently?

The reinforced single post and 3-bar web pattern create a stable, deep pocket that guides high-speed catches into the glove. That structure reduces twisting on awkward grabs and gives younger hands a predictable closure pattern.

• Reinforced Single Post & 3-Bar Web for secure pocketing
• 12.5" size provides extended reach for balls in the gap
• Deep pocket design channels the ball toward the palm

What materials and construction make this glove durable out of the box?

The A700 uses black full-grain leather for a balance of softness and long-term wear resistance so it breaks in quickly but keeps shape across a season. Leather lining and robust stitching reinforce stress points where outfield play demands strength.

• Full-grain leather shell for durability and immediate playability
• Leather lining to withstand repeated impact and friction
• Reinforced stitching at the web and fingers to prevent premature wear

Will this glove fit and perform for a right hand thrower?

Yes — this model is configured for right hand throwers, meaning the glove fits the left hand to leave the dominant right hand free to throw quickly after the catch. The 12.5" sizing and break-in characteristics suit most youth and smaller-teen outfielders.

• Right hand throw orientation: worn on left hand
• 12.5" length ideal for youth outfield reach and control
• Break-in ready leather minimizes initial stiffness

How does the A700 perform visually and on-field?

The black base complemented by silver and orange accents creates a contemporary aesthetic that hides scuffs while maintaining a clean look. On the field the glove’s profile helps players locate the pocket visually and close quickly for throws to the infield.

• Black full-grain leather hides dirt and looks sharp
• Silver and orange accents provide clear pocket definition
• Low-maintenance finish that looks good through regular use
