XIEEIX Rear Child Bike Seat - Rear-Mounted, Width-Adjustable Seat with Backrest and Padded Cushion

The XIEEIX Rear Child Bike Seat is a rear-mounted, adjustable child carrier that secures to most bicycle rear frames to provide a stable, padded ride for toddlers and young children.

This rear-mounted child seat from XIEEIX combines a steel frame, padded leather-like cushion, and adjustable safety barrier to fit different child sizes while attaching to standard rear bicycle racks. It’s built to be durable and comfortable for short commutes, errands, and neighborhood rides, with installation requirements to ensure a correct fit.

How does this seat attach to my bicycle and what frame dimensions are needed?

The seat fastens to the bike’s rear rack using screws designed for secure mounting; note that the included guardrail fixing screws require both a wrench and a screwdriver to lock in place. It fits flat rear frames longer than 9.87 inches and narrower than 7.87 inches and can be mounted on standard luggage racks.

• Requires a flat rear rack length > 9.87 inches and width < 7.87 inches
• Secures with anti-drop guardrail screws—use a wrench and screwdriver to tighten
• Compatible with most standard bicycle luggage racks
• Installation ensures the anti-detachment screw won’t come loose during cycling

Is the seat comfortable and adjustable for different children?

The child seat offers an adjustable safety barrier, cushioned seat pad, and backrest so you can tailor the inner space to your child’s body shape. The padding is water-resistant and filled with thickened sponge for extra comfort during short to medium rides.

• Width-adjustable safety barrier to change internal seat space
• Soft foam padding and leather-like cover that resists water and wear
• Supportive backrest and armrest for added comfort and posture
• Smooth hard-plastic guardrail for secure hand support

How sturdy and safe is the XIEEIX rear child seat?

Constructed with a steel frame, this rear child seat emphasizes strength and durability while maintaining a modest total weight. The product is built to meet typical child weight needs relative to the bicycle’s rack capacity, with anti-detachment hardware to reduce risk of loosening in use.

• Steel frame for structural strength and long-term use
• Guardrail made from hard plastic with smooth finish and no toxic odors
• Total product weight about 7.7 pounds for a robust but manageable assembly
• Load capacity determined by bicycle and rack specifications—verify your bike’s limit

What should I check before buying and installing this rear child seat?

Before purchase, confirm your bike’s rear rack dimensions and load capacity to ensure compatibility and safety. During installation, follow the guidance to tighten anti-drop screws with both tools and verify that all fasteners are secure before each ride.

• Measure rack length and width against the required dimensions
• Confirm your bicycle rack’s maximum load capacity supports the combined weight
• Use both wrench and screwdriver to fix guardrail anti-drop screws correctly
• Re-check fasteners periodically and before taking a child on rides

It’s ideal for short urban rides, errands, or family outings where a padded seat, adjustable fit, and secure mounting are priorities—provided the bike meets the installation dimensions and load requirements.
