YETI Hopper Flip 18 Soft Cooler — Charcoal, leakproof HydroLok zipper & ColdCell insulation

The YETI Hopper Flip 18 is a rugged, leakproof soft cooler in charcoal that keeps up to 16 cans chilled with industry-leading ColdCell insulation and a HydroLok zipper.

Built for anglers, hikers, tailgaters and everyday outings, the Hopper Flip 18 blends soft-sided portability with hard-core cold retention. The DryHide shell stands up to abrasion, punctures and water while the closed-cell ColdCell foam core delivers longer-lasting ice performance than typical soft coolers. Thoughtful dimensions and lightweight construction make it simple to carry, stow, and access the contents when you’re on the move.

How long will the Hopper Flip 18 keep drinks and food cold?

ColdCell insulation is a dense closed-cell foam designed to slow heat transfer, so ice and chilled items last significantly longer than in ordinary soft coolers. Actual performance depends on ambient temperature and how often the lid is opened.

• Holds up to 16 standard 12-oz cans plus ice — pack accordingly for day trips.
• Thick insulating walls reduce temperature gain from warm air and sunlight.
• HydroLok zipper seals out heat and prevents water leaks.

Is the Hopper Flip 18 durable enough for outdoor use?

The Hopper Flip 18 is built to take abuse in the field: its DryHide shell resists punctures and abrasions while high-density exterior fabric stands up to UV exposure. Reinforced seams and rugged hardware add longevity for repeated use.

• Waterproof DryHide shell protects against splashes and wet environments.
• High-density fabric reduces wear from rough surfaces and gear contact.
• Sturdy construction and reliable zipper keep contents secure during travel.

How easy is it to carry and access on the go?

The Hopper Flip 18 is sized for solo or small-group outings: compact enough to carry easily yet large enough for a day’s worth of beverages. A wide top opening gives simple access while the soft-sided form is lighter and more packable than hard coolers.

• Dimensions: 15 2/3" L x 10 1/5" W x 12 3/5" H — fits under seats and in trunks.
• Empty weight 5.1 lbs — comfortable to shoulder, tote, or clip to railings.
• Wide-mouth opening and flip-top design for quick reach to contents.

What makes the Hopper Flip 18 easy to clean and maintain?

Materials are chosen to simplify cleanup after messy trips. The waterproof shell and internal lining wipe clean quickly and resist lingering odors when dried properly.

• Waterproof interior surfaces rinse and wipe down with mild soap and water.
• HydroLok zipper repels water and keeps seals intact for effective cleaning.
• Air-dry completely before storage to prevent mildew and odors.

Who is this for? The YETI Hopper Flip 18 in Charcoal is ideal for anyone who wants a portable cooler that balances weight, capacity and rugged performance: solo fishermen, kayak and paddleboard users, day hikers, festival and tailgate goers, and commuters who prefer cold lunches. If you need a compact cooler that resists the elements, seals reliably and holds a full day’s worth of cans plus ice, the Hopper Flip 18 is designed for that role.
