YETI ICE Block refreezable cooler ice pack — 907 g slim reusable, durable cold retention

The YETI ICE Block 2 lb is a refreezable, reusable cooler ice pack designed to keep food and drinks colder longer by replacing or supplementing loose ice.

Whether you're packing a day cooler for a beach trip, loading up a hunting cooler, or topping off your tailgate gear, the YETI ICE Block is built to endure rough handling while delivering consistent cooling performance. Its slim, custom shape reduces freezing time and fits seamlessly into a wide range of soft and hard coolers, providing reliable cold retention without the mess of melting ice.

How does the YETI ICE Block 2 lb perform compared with loose ice?

The ICE Block serves as a solid, temperature-stable cooling source that supplements or replaces loose ice. It melts slower than the same mass of loose ice and eliminates the soggy runoff, so contents stay drier and cooler for longer.

• 2 lb of frozen cooling mass provides sustained cold release
• Reduces liquid buildup inside the cooler compared to loose ice
• Refreezable for repeated use, lowering ongoing costs

Will this freeze quickly and fit inside my cooler?

YETI engineered the pack with a slim, custom profile that freezes faster than thicker blocks and slides into narrow spaces in both soft and hard coolers. The dimensions balance surface area and volume to make freezing efficient while maximizing contact with contents.

• Dimensions: 8 in × 5 3/8 in × 1 5/8 in for compact, space-saving placement
• Thin profile reaches colder temperatures more quickly in a standard freezer
• Fits Hopper Flips, soft-side coolers and larger Tundra models when used with other ice

Is the ICE Block durable enough for outdoor adventures?

This ice pack is engineered for toughness, with a break-resistant construction that handles tumbles and rough transport without leaking. It’s a practical choice for active outings where equipment gets bumped and shifted.

• Durable shell resists punctures and cracking under normal use
• Reusable design minimizes replacement frequency and waste
• Works as either a standalone cooling source or in combination with other ice products

How should I use and maintain the refreezable ice block?

Freeze the ICE Block flat on a freezer shelf until solid, then place it among food and drinks for even cooling. After use, rinse and dry before refreezing; store flat to preserve shape and performance.

• Freeze flat for fastest solidification and best fit
• Rinse with fresh water after each use and air-dry fully before refreezing
• Store in a clean, dry place to avoid contamination and prolong life

Who is this for: The YETI ICE Block 2 lb is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, tailgaters, anglers, campers, and anyone who wants a cleaner, longer-lasting cooling solution for soft-side or large hard coolers. If you value durable gear that reduces meltwater, fits into tight cooler spaces, and can be reused trip after trip, this compact ice pack is a practical upgrade to loose ice.
