YETI SideKick Dry 3L Gear Case — Rescue Red waterproof pouch with DryHide shell & HydroShield closure

Whether you're paddling, hiking in rainy weather, or packing gear for a floating camp, the SideKick Dry 3L by YETI offers boat-grade materials and watertight construction in a compact pouch. Built with a DryHide shell, RF-welded seams, and a HydroShield magnetic closure, this case is sized to hold the items you need close at hand while protecting them from rain, spray, and accidental submersion.

How does the SideKick Dry keep water out?

The case combines multiple waterproof technologies to block moisture from every seam and opening. Its DryHide exterior resists abrasion and punctures, RF-welded seams remove needle holes where water could enter, and the HydroShield closure uses powerful magnets to seal the opening tightly.

• DryHide shell modeled after whitewater raft materials for durability
• RF-welded seams eliminate stitch holes that admit water
• HydroShield magnetic closure creates a 100% waterproof seal
• Compact 3L capacity that maintains a reliable barrier against spray and short immersions

What fits inside the 3L SideKick Dry and how is it organized?

The 3-liter interior is sized for daily essentials you want protected: phones, keys, wallets, small first-aid items, and compact electronics. The simple, open interior maximizes usable space while the rigid shell helps prevent crushing and keeps contents accessible.

• Outside dimensions: 11 ¾ x 7 1/8 x 3 ¼ inches for easy packing
• Room for a phone, compact power bank, cash, and small tools
• Rigid construction protects fragile items from impact
• Wide opening for fast access without fumbling

How durable is the SideKick Dry for outdoor use?

Durability is a core design point: the DryHide material and heavy-duty construction stand up to rough handling and abrasive surfaces. It’s intended for repeated exposure to wet, sandy, or rocky conditions common on rivers, coasts, and backcountry trips.

• DryHide shell resists tears, punctures, and UV wear
• RF-welded seams strengthen overall integrity under stress
• HydroShield closure avoids zipper failures and clogged tracks
• Designed to float and survive common boater and beach environments

How do I carry or attach the SideKick Dry during activities?

The compact shape and relatively rigid body let you stow it inside packs, clip it to harness points, or tuck it into kayak cockpits and boat compartments. Its streamlined profile fits in many storage spaces while remaining easy to grab when you need to access protected items quickly.

• Fits inside most daypacks, dry bags, and kayak hatches
• Lightweight enough to clip to belts or sling straps for quick access
• Rigid sides prevent collapse so items stay easy to find
• Rescue Red color improves visibility in low-light or crowded gear piles

Who is this for? The YETI SideKick Dry 3L is aimed at paddlers, anglers, coastal commuters, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a compact, dependable dry storage option. If you regularly face rain, spray, or the risk of submersion and want a low-fuss way to protect small valuables, this rescue-red pouch gives waterproof performance with YETI’s hallmark durability.
