Overmont

Overmont focuses on comfortable outdoor seating. The range at Sportium covers oversized XL camping chairs rated up to 227 kg, two-seat loveseat chairs, chairs with adjustable canopies and built-in cooler pockets, low beach chairs, padded and heated stadium seats for stands and bleachers, a lightweight camp bed and 3.2 m (10'6") inflatable stand-up paddleboard kits.

For chairs, start with the weight rating and seat width, then the seat height: a low beach chair suits sand and small tents, while a taller high-back chair is easier to stand up from. Canopies and side coolers add bulk, so compare the packed size with your car boot. Stadium seats sit on bench or bleacher seating, so measure the width of your ground's bench seats before choosing a wide model. On the water, a board 84 cm (33 in) wide is a stable all-round size for beginners. Most Canal & River Trust and Environment Agency waterways need a paddling licence or a club membership that includes one.

Overmont: frequently asked questions

How much weight can an Overmont camping chair hold?

It varies by model. The oversized XL chairs are rated to 227 kg, the padded high-back 2-packs to 204 kg each, the canopy chairs to 150 kg and the double loveseat to 386 kg across both seats. The figure for each chair is in its title and specifications; stay within it and set the frame on firm, level ground.

What comes with an Overmont inflatable paddleboard kit?

An inflatable SUP is made from drop-stitch PVC that becomes rigid when pumped up, then rolls into a backpack for transport. Overmont's 10'6" kits come with accessories such as a paddle, pump and backpack; check the product page for the full list, including the leash and fin. Always wear a buoyancy aid and leash on the water.

Do heated stadium seats need a power bank?

Heated seats need a portable power source, and the type differs by model, so read the specifications for what is required and whether it is included. Overmont's heated seats have dual heat zones and a reclining backrest. Keep the power pack dry, and unplug it when the seat is not in use or is being folded away.

What size paddleboard should a beginner choose?

A 3.2 m (10'6") all-round board about 84 cm (33 in) wide, like Overmont's, is a common starting point for adults: stable enough to stand up on flat water while still tracking reasonably straight. Heavier paddlers, or anyone taking a child or dog on board, should check the maximum load on the product page.
