How quickly can I start using the 3DFitBud A420S?

Out of the box the pedometer is ready to go—no pairing, downloads, or programming required. Simply attach it to your clothing or hang it with the lanyard and press the start button on the back to begin counting.

• Pre-installed battery for immediate use
• Single-button operation to start/stop
• Clip and lanyard included for multiple carry options
• Minimal setup ideal for kids and seniors

How accurate is the step counting and why does the 3D sensor matter?

The A420S uses a 3D tri-axis motion sensor that detects movement across three planes, improving step detection even if the device isn’t perfectly vertical. That reduces missed or false steps compared with older single-axis pedometers, giving you a truer picture of daily activity.

• Tri-axis sensing captures motion up/down and side-to-side
• Works when clipped to a pocket, belt or worn on a lanyard
• Better consistency during varied activities like walking, shopping, or light errands

What information is shown on the display and is it easy to read?

The device features an extra-large digital display that shows your step count clearly at a quick glance. The screen is designed for readability so users of all ages can check progress without squinting or fiddling with menus.

• Full-screen numeric step count visible from a distance
• Simple interface—one value displayed without confusing metrics
• Durable, lightweight casing for everyday carry

How long does the battery last and does it conserve power?

The unit ships with a battery already installed and optimized for long life, with typical use lasting up to a year before replacement. Power-saving features automatically put the pedometer to sleep when you’re still, then wake and resume counting as you move.

• Pre-installed battery included in the package
• Auto-sleep and auto-wake preserve battery life
• Simple battery replacement when needed—no special tools required
