9 STRAP Technology baseball & softball hitting aid — FULL HIDE model, leather webbing for compact two-handed swing

The 9 STRAP is a game-approved hitting aid that locks both hands to the bat to promote a compact two-handed swing, reduce sloppy casting, and build consistent barrel contact.

The 9 STRAP from 9 STRAP Technology is a leather-and-webbing batting aid designed for baseball and softball players who want to train the same swing they use in games. Patented and approved for competition use, it keeps both hands working together through the swing, giving measurable feedback to hitters and coaches without changing bat feel. Available in three models and sized to glove fit, the 9 STRAP suits youth players through adult competitors.

How does the 9 STRAP help me stay connected through contact?

By physically linking the top and bottom hands, the 9 STRAP prevents early separation (casting) and encourages a two-handed finish. That connection helps coordinate hands, forearms, and torso so the barrel stays on a tighter path to the ball.

• Pairs both hands with a 1-inch multi-panel webbing connection for synced movement.
• Two-layer or single-layer webbing options give different levels of feedback.
• Velcro tab folds the strap away when not needed, keeping the grip tidy.

Which model should I choose: FULL HIDE, LITE, or PRO?

Pick a model based on feel and experience. FULL HIDE offers a firmer, two-layer webbing for immediate feedback—good for beginners. LITE reduces bulk with a single layer under the bottom hand. PRO uses the thinnest profile for advanced hitters who want minimal interference.

• FULL HIDE: two-layer webbing, stronger feedback, ideal for youth/new hitters.
• LITE: single-layer bottom hand, less intrusive feel for gradual adaptation.
• PRO: low-profile construction for advanced players seeking minimal feel change.

Will using the 9 STRAP change my bat speed or power?

The 9 STRAP trains mechanics that help deliver cleaner rotation and a tighter barrel path; those mechanics support more consistent hard contact and efficient energy transfer. It’s a training tool—not performance equipment—so results depend on practice and proper technique.

• Encourages synchronized hands and lower body for efficient rotation.
• Reduces rolling and leaking that waste energy before contact.
• Patented design trains the same swing used in competition.

How is the 9 STRAP built and what sizes/colors are available?

The 9 STRAP pairs soft cowhide leather with robust nylon stitching and 1-inch multi-panel webbing for a durable, comfortable fit. A Velcro closure keeps the strap secure when off the bat. Sizes align with batting glove sizes from Youth XS through Adult XXXL and come in eight color options.

• Soft cowhide leather for comfortable hand contact and durability.
• 1-inch webbing with multi-panel construction for consistent feedback.
• Sized to glove measurements, available in eight colors, and includes Velcro tab.

Who is this for: The 9 STRAP is meant for coaches, players, and trainers who want a game-approved tool to reinforce two-handed finishes and cleaner swing mechanics. It’s useful for youth players learning fundamentals, high school and collegiate hitters refining their timing, and pro-level athletes who favor a subtle, technical training aid. Because it’s offered in several profiles and sizes, teams can outfit a range of players from beginner to advanced without changing the swing they’ll take into competition.
