9 STRAP Technology Baseball & Softball Hitting Tool — PRO Model, Game-Approved Two-Hand Trainer

9 STRAP is a game-approved hitting aid that connects both hands to the bat to improve mechanics, protect against one-handed follow-throughs, and transfer more power into contact.

The 9 STRAP Baseball & Softball Game Approved Hitting Tool is a patented leather-and-webbing strap that keeps a hitter's hands locked together through the swing. Designed to be worn like a batting glove overlay and sized to glove measurements from Youth XS to Adult XXXL, the 9 STRAP trains the same two-handed finish and inside-the-ball path you need for competition. Available in three models (FULL HIDE, LITE, and PRO), it delivers graduated feedback for beginners through elite players and is approved for use in many game environments.

How does the 9 STRAP help prevent swing-related injuries?

By maintaining hand connection, the 9 STRAP reduces the tendency to let one arm take over after contact, which can lead to shoulder, elbow, or wrist strain. The continuous linkage also stops large backswing flairs that risk catcher or teammate contact.

• Secures both hands to bat during entire swing for controlled follow-through.
• Minimizes single-arm deceleration stresses on shoulder and elbow.
• Provides consistent tactile feedback to discourage dangerous backswing arcs.

Will using the 9 STRAP change my swing mechanics?

Yes—the strap intentionally enforces a two-handed finish and prevents casting, rolling, or barrel dumping. That trains a tighter barrel path and keeps hitters inside the ball, which is the same swing pattern used in competition.

• Locks hands to stop casting and rollover faults.
• Encourages synchronized hands, arms, and lower body rotation.
• Patented design mimics the mechanics required for game swings.

How does the 9 STRAP affect bat speed and power transfer?

Keeping the hands connected promotes cleaner rotation and a shorter, more direct barrel path into the contact zone. That connection helps channel energy from the legs and core through the hands and into the bat for more consistent hard contact.

• Improves timing between lower body and hands for efficient power delivery.
• Promotes a tighter barrel path to reduce energy loss at impact.
• Delivers immediate feedback so hitters can adjust to maximize bat speed.

Which 9 STRAP model should I choose and what materials are used?

The 9 STRAP comes in three feels: FULL HIDE for sturdier feedback, LITE for a subtler bottom-hand layer, and PRO for the thinnest profile preferred by advanced hitters. All models use soft cowhide leather, robust nylon stitching, and one-inch multi-panel webbing with a Velcro tab for secure storage when not worn.

• FULL HIDE: two-layer webbing, immediate tactile cue—good for developing players.
• LITE: single bottom layer, balanced feel—ideal for transitioning hitters.
• PRO: minimalist profile for elite hitters seeking minimal interference.

Who is this for? The 9 STRAP is for baseball and softball players, coaches, and trainers who want a practical, game-approved tool to reinforce two-handed contact, cleaner mechanics, and safer swings. It’s appropriate for youth players learning fundamentals, high school and college athletes refining their repeatable swing, and professional hitters seeking targeted feedback. Available in eight colors and sizes that match batting glove sizing, the 9 STRAP integrates into training routines without altering the competitive swing you’ll use in games.
