AlphaBeing Extra Large Beach Blanket - Waterproof, Sandproof Rip-Stop Polyester, 10x9 ft with Anchors

When you want a single ground cover that stays dry, sheds sand, and fits the whole family, this AlphaBeing beach blanket was built for those needs. Made from rip-stop polyester (pongee) with water-resistant and quick-drying properties, it balances durability with packability. The blanket is available in two sizes, includes a dual wind-resistant anchoring system, and folds into a compact bag with a carabiner—designed to simplify transport and cleanup on vacations, hikes, and backyard gatherings.

How does the fabric keep sand and moisture away?

The blanket uses tightly woven rip-stop polyester with a water-resistant finish that prevents liquid from soaking through and stops sand grains from embedding in the weave. After use you can shake off residue and hang it to dry, or toss it in the washing machine for a deeper clean.

• Sandproof weave resists stuck-on granules for quick cleanup
• Water-repellent coating protects gear and clothing from dampness
• Quick-drying, breathable textile for repeated outdoor use
• Machine washable for easy maintenance

Will the blanket stay put on windy beaches?

AlphaBeing designed this blanket with a double wind-resistant approach: four corner sand pockets and four sturdy ABS ground stakes. Use the weighted pockets filled with sand or rocks for sandy shores, or push the stakes into grass or firm soil to keep the mat flat and stable.

• Four built-in sand pockets for secure anchoring on beaches
• Four durable ABS stakes for use on grass, dirt, or packed sand
• Combined system minimizes flapping and keeps the blanket level
• Easy-to-access pockets and stake loops for quick setup

How big is the blanket and who fits on it?

The largest option measures 120" × 108" (10 ft × 9 ft), roomy enough for up to eight adults relaxing side-by-side, while the smaller 79" × 83" model suits one to four people comfortably. Both sizes leave space for chairs, coolers, toys, and a picnic spread without crowding.

• 120" × 108" accommodates large family groups and multiple chairs
• 79" × 83" is ideal for small families or couples
• Generous coverage works under umbrellas or for shade setups
• Lightweight construction despite large surface area

How portable and durable is it for travel?

Although the blanket unfolds to a very large mat, it compacts neatly into the included carry bag and weighs about 1.2 kg (approx. 2.6 lbs). A built-in carabiner lets you clip it to backpacks or strollers so it’s ready for hikes, road trips, or spontaneous beach stops.

• Folds down to a small, travel-ready carry bag
• Lightweight — easy to carry or attach with the carabiner
• Rip-stop polyester resists tearing during outdoor use
• Machine washable material maintains performance over time

Who is this for? If you regularly spend time outdoors with family or friends—whether at the beach, park, or campground—and want a low-maintenance, spacious ground cover, this AlphaBeing blanket is made for you. It suits parents with kids, group picnickers, travelers who pack light but need large coverage, and anyone who dislikes sandy, damp gear.
