AmarinePlay Marine-Grade Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet — 12" x 10.1 m Roll, UV & Salt-Resistant, Recycled Polyester

AmarinePlay 12" x 33ft marine-grade boat trailer bunk carpet is a durable, UV- and salt‑resistant replacement roll designed to protect hulls and restore trailer bunks and runners.

Bring worn trailer bunks back to life with a long-lasting, weatherproof carpet engineered for boat trailers and watercraft lifts. This 12‑inch wide by 33‑foot roll fits standard 2"x4" through 2"x10" bunk boards and provides abrasion resistance, fast drainage, and a non‑abrasive surface that helps prevent scratches to fiberglass, aluminum, and wood hulls. It’s recycled polyester built for outdoor marine environments so you can replace old, shredded carpet with minimal fuss.

How will this carpet protect my boat’s hull when trailering?

The dense marine pile cushions contact between the boat bottom and the trailer, reducing scuffs and impact marks during launching, loading, and transport. Its low water retention and saltwater resistance also limit moisture-related wear on both the hull and the bunk boards.

• Soft recycled polyester fibers reduce surface abrasion.
• Fast-draining backing prevents water pooling and mold.
• Salt- and UV-resistant construction minimizes degradation outdoors.

What sizes and bunks does the 12" roll fit?

This 12‑inch wide roll is cut to 33 feet, making it ideal for most standard bunk lengths and multiple bunks from a single roll. It comfortably covers common bunk dimensions including 2"x4", 2"x6", 2"x8" and 2"x10" boards and can be trimmed to fit custom layouts.

• 12" width suits typical single-bunk applications.
• 33ft length covers several bunks or long runners without seams.
• Easy to trim for odd widths, corners, or short sections.

How does it stand up to saltwater, sun, and regular use?

Manufactured as a marine-grade recycled polyester carpet, it resists UV fading and saltwater damage for extended outdoor service. The backing and fiber choices promote quicker drying and lower water retention, which reduces mildew and helps the carpet maintain shape and grip over time.

• UV-stable fibers resist fading and brittleness.
• Low water absorption speeds drying after launches.
• Durable pile retains cushioning under repeated loads.

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installing this bunk carpet is a straightforward DIY job for most boat owners: cut to length, staple or glue to the bunk board, and trim edges for a snug finish. Maintenance is low — rinse with fresh water to remove salt and debris and inspect seams annually.

• Cut, staple or marine adhesive methods work well for attachment.
• Periodic rinsing removes salt and grime; air dry quickly.
• Replace single sections as needed without full trailer teardown.

Who is this for: The AmarinePlay 12" x 33ft marine carpet is aimed at boat owners and trailer maintenance professionals who need a reliable, economical bunk covering for bass boats, pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, jon boats and more. It’s suited to anyone replacing worn trailer runners, protecting fragile hull finishes, or upgrading bunks for better traction and drainage during repeated launches in freshwater or saltwater marinas.
