Battle Chrome Football Back Plate — Red/White Adult, High-Impact Foam & Hard Shell Protection

The Battle Sports Chrome Football Back Plate in red/white chrome is a contoured, hard-shell back protector with high-impact foam that mounts to pads for improved coverage and comfort.

This adult back plate pairs a glossy, eye-catching finish with performance-focused construction. Built with a rigid outer shell and a high-impact foam interior, it disperses energy from tackles and collisions while remaining comfortable against the body. Hardware is included for straightforward installation onto most standard football shells, and the curved profile enhances fit and range of motion.

How does this back plate protect during contact?

The design channels and spreads impact forces over a larger surface instead of letting them concentrate on one point. A durable outer shell resists abrasion and puncture, while the contoured foam layer cushions and reduces blunt-force transfer to the wearers spine and lower back.

• High-impact closed-cell foam cushions collisions and rebounds.
• Curved shell geometry distributes energy across the plate.
• Hard outer surface resists scrapes and localized penetration.

Will it fit my adult shoulder pads and how easy is installation?

The Battle back plate is made with a universal-fit approach so it works with most adult shoulder pad systems. Installation hardware is supplied so you can attach it to the pad shell securely without needing specialty tools.

• Universal sizing for many adult shoulder pad models.
• Included screws and fasteners speed up mounting.
• Curved profile helps align with pad contours for a snug fit.

What comfort and mobility should I expect while wearing it?

The contoured form is designed to follow the natural curve of the back, preserving mobility while increasing coverage area. The foam interior balances resilient support with enough give to remain comfortable during drills, sprints and prolonged use.

• Contoured foam reduces pressure points when leaning or bending.
• Slim profile minimizes interference with shoulder motion.
• Gloss finish mitigates moisture buildup and wipes clean easily.

Does the chrome finish affect durability or visibility on the field?

The high-gloss chrome finish is primarily aesthetic but also provides an extra tough surface layer that withstands scuffs and scrapes. The red and white chrome styling enhances visibility so teammates and staff can easily identify players and equipment during practices and games.

• High-gloss finish resists chipping and surface wear.
• Bold red/white chrome improves on-field visibility.
• Easy to clean for a consistently professional appearance.

Who is this for? Players and teams looking for a combination of style and practical back protection will appreciate this Battle Sports chrome back plate. Its intended for adult athletes who need a universal, hard-shell protector that mounts cleanly to existing shoulder pads, whether for contact practice or competitive play. Coaches, equipment managers and players who prioritize a balance of coverage, comfort and a polished look will find it a straightforward upgrade to standard pad setups.
