Buttendz Hockey Grip — Future 7-inch Step-Down Knob Replacement with Twirl Texture for Improved Control

Buttendz Future Rubber Replacement Hockey Grip is a 7-inch two-tiered, step-down knob handle made to improve control, hand fit, and tactile feedback on any stick.

Whether you play pickup, league, or street hockey, the right butt end changes how a stick feels and performs. The Buttendz Future grip pairs a stepped knob with a textured twirl pattern to give players a more secure, ergonomic hold and clearer puck connection without changing stick length or balance. Designed to fit all stick diameters, it’s an easy swap that upgrades comfort and responsiveness in seconds.

How does the step-down knob improve hand positioning?

The two-tiered step-down design creates a defined shoulder for the bottom hand, helping keep fingers and palm anchored in the same spot. That consistent hand placement reduces slipping and helps repeatable stickhandling motions.

• Two-tier knob supports natural finger wrap and thumb placement
• Lower step prevents the hand from creeping during shots and passes
• Defined edges aid quick orientation without looking down

Will this grip fit my stick and change balance?

Buttendz Future is engineered to fit virtually all standard stick sizes, sliding on as a direct replacement so you won’t need adhesives or major modification. Its 7-inch length and compact knob dimensions maintain the original feel and balance of your stick, avoiding unwanted top-heaviness.

• Universal fit adapts to common shaft diameters
• 7-inch grip preserves original stick length and swing weight
• Precise knob measurements ensure consistent handling characteristics

What grip and texture features enhance control on the ice?

The surface includes a twirl pattern that increases friction between glove and handle, delivering added tactile feedback and slip resistance in wet or sweaty conditions. That texture helps players sense puck contact and micro-adjust grip without interrupting play.

• Twirl pattern boosts traction for quick directional changes
• Rubber compound offers durable tack without being sticky
• Texturing preserves glove life while improving feel

What are the knob dimensions and why do they matter?

Precise measurements—top knob 11mm wide and 5mm thick, bottom knob 7mm wide and 2.5mm thick—create a scaled transition that supports different hand sizes and playing styles. These specs balance control with comfort, letting players find secure purchase without bulk.

• Top knob: 11mm width / 5mm thickness for firm upper support
• Bottom knob: 7mm width / 2.5mm thickness for lower-hand stability
• Overall 7-inch length for consistent reach and leverage

Who is this for? Players who want a subtle, performance-focused upgrade to their stick’s butt end—goal-oriented skaters, competitive amateurs, coaches, and serious hobbyists—will appreciate the consistent hand placement and enhanced feel. It’s ideal for anyone wanting better control without altering stick balance or investing in a whole new shaft. Install quickly between periods or at home and get immediate tactile and handling benefits.
