CHAMPRO Python Rib Protector Large — Wrap-Around Rib & Back Shield, Adjustable Hook-and-Loop Fit

CHAMPRO Python Rib Protector (Large) is a wrap-around rib and back shield that fastens to Python and Falcon shoulder pads to absorb impact while keeping players mobile.

Designed to add affordable, customizable protection to football shoulder pad systems, the Champro Python rib protector combines a durable outer shell with cushioned foam to deflect and dampen hits to the ribs and lower back. It mounts quickly using included hardware and an adjustable hook-and-loop front closure so athletes can tune coverage without sacrificing range of motion.

How does this rib protector attach to my shoulder pads?

The Python rib protector is built to integrate with Champro Python and Falcon shoulder pads. It uses the supplied attachment hardware and three vertical height locations with extra grommets so you can set the protector where it best aligns with your pads and body.

• Included mounting hardware for quick installation
• Three height attachment points for vertical adjustment
• Extra grommets for fine-tuning fit and coverage
• Hook-and-loop front closure for secure, adjustable fastening

Will it restrict movement while I play?

The wrap-around design was made to balance coverage and mobility. A high-impact plastic outer layer paired with foam padding protects without adding excessive bulk, and the front closure lets you cinch the fit so the protector moves with your torso rather than against it.

• Slim profile reduces interference with arm swing and tackling
• Adjustable closure helps prevent shifting during play
• Lightweight materials keep added weight minimal
• Wrap-around fit keeps protection anchored around ribs and back

What materials and protection features does it include?

The protector combines a tough outer shell with energy-absorbing foam to manage impacts to the ribs and lower back. The construction prioritizes durability to withstand repeated contact while maintaining comfort next to the pad system.

• High-impact plastic outer layer for external abrasion and impact resistance
• Internal foam padding to cushion blows and improve comfort
• Reinforced grommets for secure attachments to shoulder pads
• Hook-and-loop front closure for easy on/off and micro-adjustments

How do I choose the right size and adjust coverage?

This listing is for the Large size designed for athletes who need broader torso coverage; refer to your pad fit and body proportions when selecting size. Use the three attachment heights to place the protector higher or lower along the pad shell, and tighten the front closure to achieve a secure, personalized fit.

• Large size suits players needing wider rib/back protection
• Three vertical positions allow placement over ribs or lower back
• Adjustable front closure customizes snugness and stability
• Check alignment with shoulder pad before final tightening
