CoolerPak 3.18 kg Refillable Ice Pack – Hook & Loop Fastener, Leakproof 600D TPU, Potable-Water Safe

CoolerPak 7lb Refillable Ice Pack is a durable, refillable frozen pack that fits inside coolers, secures with hook & loop, and provides long-lasting cold while remaining safe for potable water.

Designed for anglers, campers, tailgaters and anyone who needs reliable cooling without disposable ice, this 7-pound CoolerPak freezes into a slim, flexible slab that maximizes usable cooler space. Its 600D TPU fabric resists punctures, the included velcro strips let you attach or link packs together, and the interior formula is safe for drinking water when thawed, meeting FDA and Prop 65 standards.

How long will the CoolerPak keep contents cold?

Cold retention depends on freezer time, ambient temperature, and cooler insulation quality. Frozen solid for 24–48 hours in a household freezer, a 7lb CoolerPak provides extended cold compared with ice alone, especially when used with an insulated cooler.

• Freeze 24–48 hours for best performance
• Place against items for even cooling
• Pair with quality cooler for multi-day use

Is it safe to use with drinking water and food?

Yes — the internal gel meets FDA and Prop 65 standards, so you can fill it with potable water and safely use the melted contents for drinking if necessary. The outer shell is leakproof when properly sealed and built to resist rips and punctures during normal outdoor use.

• FDA and Prop 65-compliant internal fluid
• Leakproof valve and reinforced seams
• Recommended to inspect seals before each trip

How do I attach, store, and maintain the CoolerPak?

The pack includes hook & loop strips for mounting to cooler walls or linking multiple packs into a custom arrangement. To store, drain, roll or lay flat and keep in a dry spot; the flexible TPU shell collapses for compact storage when empty.

• Attach with supplied velcro strips to coolers
• Drain, roll, and stow flat to save space
• Clean with mild soap; avoid sharp objects

Will it stand up to outdoor use and travel?

Built from rugged 600D TPU fabric and reinforced seams, the CoolerPak is designed to tolerate frequent handling, transport, and the cold-contraction of repeated freeze cycles. While tough, avoid dragging over sharp rocks and inspect for wear to prolong service life.

• 600D TPU exterior resists abrasion and tears
• Designed for repeated freeze/thaw cycles
• Velcro allows modular setups for larger coolers

Who is this for: CoolerPak’s 7lb refillable ice pack is made for outdoor enthusiasts, mobile workers, and families who want a reusable, space-saving cold source that doubles as an emergency potable-water option. It suits anyone looking to reduce single-use ice, customize cooling layouts in hard or soft coolers, and carry a resilient, easy-to-store solution for day trips, multi-day expeditions, picnics, and cold-plunge setups.
