DocksLocks Coiled Combination Security Cable Lock 20ft, 10mm Marine‑Grade Weatherproof

The DocksLocks 20ft Coiled Combination Security Cable Lock is a weatherproof, 10mm-diameter marine-grade cable with a 4-digit resettable combination for securing kayaks, bikes, boards, and outdoor gear.

Built for waterfront and outdoor use, this coiled security cable balances compact storage with long reach when extended. The vinyl-coated, electro-galvanized steel resists corrosion from humidity and salt spray, while the slim 10mm male end fits through narrow scupper holes and small anchor points. Its keyless 4-digit resettable lock keeps things simple for family outings, rentals, or daily commutes where convenience and corrosion resistance matter.

How does the coiled design improve everyday storage and transport?

The self-coiling construction contracts the cable into a compact bundle so it won’t tangle in trunks, boat lockers, or storage racks. When you need length, the cable stretches out to the selected working distance and retracts when released, reducing clutter.

• Compacts easily for travel and storage
• Reduces tangling compared with loose long cables
• Quickly stretches to the working length when securing gear

Can this lock handle saltwater and outdoor exposure?

Yes — the cable and locking mechanism are designed with marine environments in mind. The steel core is electro-galvanized and covered in a corrosion-resistant vinyl jacket, and the lock body has a protective seal to limit water intrusion.

• Vinyl-coated marine-grade steel cable for rust resistance
• Sealed zinc-alloy lock to block moisture and debris
• Recommended rinse after heavy salt exposure and periodic lubrication

What makes the 10mm diameter useful compared to bulkier cables?

The 10mm male tip was chosen to pass through tight anchor points like kayak scupper holes and small board tie-down loops. That slim profile expands the range of items you can secure without forcing modifications.

• Maneuvers through narrow scuppers and small lock points
• Suits kayaks, paddleboards, surfboards, bikes, and gear racks
• Provides a balance of flexibility and visible deterrent

How easy is it to set and change the combination?

The integrated 4-digit mechanism is user-resettable for keyless convenience. You can program a memorable code in minutes and change it later if needed, making it well suited to shared equipment and rental fleets.

• Keyless 4-digit code; no keys to lose
• Resettable so multiple users can update access codes
• Simple setup with included instructions

Who is this for? The DocksLocks 20ft coiled combination cable is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, waterfront homeowners, rental operators, and anyone who needs a long, stowable, weather-resistant security cable. It’s especially helpful when you need a cable slim enough to pass through small anchor points but long enough to loop around racks, pilings, or multiple items. Choose this model when portability, corrosion resistance, and a keyless lock are priorities, and consider sizing up if you require extra working length beyond the cable’s contracted form.
