Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard Silver — Senior/Large skate blade covers with VCI lining & water-resistant shell

Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard in Silver is a pair of senior-size blade covers designed to keep skate edges dry, protected and safe for walking off the ice.

Built for skaters who move between the rink, locker room and car, these Pro-Skate Guards combine a water-resistant outer shell with a soft, VCI-treated inner lining and molded foam support to prevent rust, nicks and damage during transport. The lightweight covers slip on quickly, hold the blade snugly and add a rubberized strip on the sole for secure footing when you walk in your skates.

How do these guards protect my skate blades during transit?

The Pro-Skate Guards use a soft inner lining impregnated with VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitors) that helps slow oxidation and rust on steel edges. Molded foam inside stabilizes the blade to reduce movement and impact, while the water-resistant polyester outer layer keeps moisture out of the lining and blade.

• VCI-treated inner fabric reduces corrosion risk
• Molded foam holds blades steady to prevent dings
• Water-resistant outer lining repels puddles and condensation
• Soft interior prevents the blade from cutting into luggage

Will I be able to walk safely while wearing these skate covers?

Yes — the guards include a rubber traction strip along the bottom that increases grip on typical rink and locker-room floors. The sole’s tread helps prevent slips during short walks, and the snug fit keeps the cover from shifting underfoot.

• Rubber traction strip for improved ground grip
• Snug senior/large fit prevents cover movement
• Durable base built for repeated use between ice sessions

What sizes and fit details should I expect for senior skates?

This listing is for the Senior/Large fit, sized to slide over most men’s and youth senior skate models that match the size range. The stretch and molded foam allow the covers to conform to varying blade profiles while keeping a secure hold.

• Designed for Senior/Large skate sizes (fits typical 6–9 range)
• Molded foam interior adapts to different blade thicknesses
• Pair included — one cover per skate for a full set

How do these guards protect my other gear and luggage?

The soft lining and fully enclosed design prevent sharp edges from scratching helmet shells, gloves or bag linings. Because the outer material resists water, you also reduce the chance of moisture transfer to other equipment when storing wet skates.

• Soft inner fabric shields bags and gear from sharp edges
• Water-resistant exterior limits moisture contact with contents
• Durable webbing reduces wear when tossing skates into a bag

Who is this for: These Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guards are ideal for hockey players, coaches and rink staff who need reliable blade protection during travel and storage. They suit skaters using senior-size skates who want corrosion resistance, added edge protection and safer footing off the ice without bulky maintenance tools or expensive cases.
