EvoShield Pro-SRZ 2.0 Vented Skull Cap for Catchers — Navy Large/X-Large, Ventilated Lightweight Protection

The EvoShield Pro-SRZ™ Vented Skull Cap 2.0 in Navy is a vented, padded skull cap designed to give catchers lightweight coverage and improved airflow behind the plate.

Engineered for catchers who need unobtrusive head protection, the Pro-SRZ 2.0 pairs breathable venting and molded comfort foam to stay put during dives, blocks, and throws. Its semi-gloss finish and contoured shape provide a low-profile look that fits under most catcher’s masks while the Large/X-Large sizing accommodates heads 7 1/4" and above. Use it alone for minimal bulk or combine with a face mask for fuller coverage.

How does the venting improve comfort during long games?

The cap’s top and rear vented holes encourage steady airflow across the head, reducing heat buildup and sweat. This helps maintain focus and comfort through innings without sacrificing the cap’s secure fit.

• Strategically placed vents on top and back for continuous airflow
• Comfort foam padding reduces pressure points where the cap contacts the skull
• Semi-gloss shell resists sticking and eases mask removal

Will the Pro-SRZ 2.0 stay in place when blocking or moving quickly?

Yes — the internal comfort foam and contoured design stabilize the cap against sudden movements. It’s shaped to resist shifting during blocks, dives, and quick lateral motions so catchers can concentrate on the play.

• Form-fitting padding locks the cap to the head without tightness
• Contoured underside maintains contact during impacts
• Lightweight construction preserves mobility and head-turn speed

Can I use the skull cap with my existing catcher’s mask?

The low-profile silhouette is intended to work with most masks, allowing catchers to combine the cap with a face mask for layered protection. The cap sits comfortably beneath masks and avoids interfering with sight lines or breathability.

• Low-profile fit pairs with face masks and throat guards
• Maintains mask clearance for clear peripheral vision
• Semi-gloss finish reduces friction when donning or removing a mask

What size should I choose and who is this model made for?

The Large/X-Large fits heads 7 1/4" and above; Small/Medium fits 7 1/4" and below. The Pro-SRZ 2.0 is designed for catchers of all ages who want a lightweight, ventilated option for everyday practice and game use.

• L/XL recommended for 7 1/4" head circumference and up
• Available in Navy to match team gear or personal preference
• Intended as supplemental head coverage specifically for catchers

Who is this for? The EvoShield Pro-SRZ™ Vented Skull Cap 2.0 is ideal for catchers seeking a minimal, breathable headpiece that improves comfort without adding bulk. It suits youth and adult catchers who prefer a sleek, secure layer under a face mask or standalone coverage during training and games. If you want low-profile protection with better airflow and a snug, stable fit, this cap is built for the demands of the plate.
