Franklin Sports Signature Series Pro Pickleball Paddle - Pink, 16mm Polypropylene Core, MaxGrit Spin Surface

The Franklin Sports Signature Series Pro is a USAPA-approved, tournament-ready pickleball paddle featuring a 16mm polypropylene core, MaxGrit textured surface for increased spin, and a large sweet spot for consistent control.

Built for serious players who want a blend of power, precision, and feel, this paddle pairs a fiberglass face with a 16mm polypropylene core to deliver controlled drives, quick reactions at the net, and dependable returns. The MaxGrit surface material boosts ball traction for added spin while also reducing unwanted vibration, and the overall dimensions create an oversized sweet spot that helps players connect more confidently on each shot.

How does the MaxGrit surface change spin and control?

The MaxGrit textured face increases friction between the paddle and the ball so you can impart more spin without sacrificing stability. That enhanced bite helps with both offensive topspin shots and deceptive slices, giving you tighter placement on returns and serves.

• Textured surface approved by USA Pickleball for tournament use
• Improved ball traction for higher spin rates
• Surface dampens vibration for smoother feel on contact

What performance does the 16mm polypropylene core provide?

The 16mm polypropylene core balances power and control: it’s firm enough to generate strong drives but engineered to absorb shock so your shots remain consistent. The core’s thickness also contributes to a larger effective sweet spot, reducing mishits during fast exchanges.

• Polypropylene core built for durability and reliable pop
• 16mm thickness optimized for a mix of power and touch
• Consistent response across the paddle face for predictable shots

What are the paddle’s size, weight, and handling characteristics?

The paddle measures 16.5" x 7.5" with a 5.6" handle length and 4.5" handle circumference, making it comfortable for players who prefer a standard grip and good maneuverability. With a weight range of 7.9–8.3 ounces, it sits in the midweight category—light enough for quick reaction volleys, yet substantial enough for controlled drives.

• Overall paddle length 16.5" and width 7.5" for a balanced playing profile
• Handle length 5.6" provides secure two-handed and one-handed play options
• 7.9–8.3 oz. weight range for blend of speed and stability

Is the paddle competition-legal and durable for frequent play?

Yes—the Signature Series Pro meets USA Pickleball (USAPA) approval standards for tournament eligibility, and the combination of fiberglass face over a polypropylene core is designed to withstand regular, high-intensity use. The materials offer a resilient surface that keeps its texture and response over many matches.

• USAPA-certified for sanctioned events and league play
• Fiberglass layer adds structural durability and a broad sweet spot
• Constructed to maintain surface texture and core integrity over time
