Golf Pride CP2 Pro golf grips - Standard 8-pack, soft high-tack with Control Core for stability

Golf Pride CP2 Pro is a soft, high-tack golf club grip engineered with Control Core technology to lower torque and give you steadier, more comfortable swings.

Built for players who want a softer feel without sacrificing stability, the CP2 Pro combines a plush rubber compound with an internal Control Core that reduces twisting through the stroke. This eight-pack of standard-size grips equips multiple clubs at once so you can create a uniform feel across your set, whether you’re re-gripping irons, hybrids, or woods.

How does the CP2 Pro improve feel and reduce hand tension?

The CP2 Pro’s rubber compound is softer than many traditional grips, which helps dampen vibration and encourage a relaxed lower-hand hold. The result is reduced grip tension and a smoother release through impact, without losing the control you need for consistent shots.

• Soft, high-tack surface for a secure hold in all conditions
• Plush rubber reduces vibration and hand fatigue
• Textured pattern enhances tactile feedback without harshness

What does Control Core technology do for swing stability?

Control Core is an internal design feature that stiffens the inner wall of the grip to resist torque during the swing. By limiting unwanted twisting, it helps the clubface return to square more reliably, producing more predictable ball flight and better overall control.

• Internal core reduces grip rotation on aggressive swings
• Balances softness outside with stability inside for consistent feel
• Engineered to support both slower and faster swing tempos

Which clubs and players are best suited for this 8-pack?

The eight standard-size grips are versatile for re-gripping a range of clubs—commonly irons or hybrids—so you can match feel throughout your bag. Because the grip simulates extra wraps of tape in the lower hand, it helps players who prefer a firmer lower-hand placement without adding bulk under the hands.

• Standard size fits the majority of adult golfers’ clubs
• Suitable for irons, hybrids, and some woods depending on preference
• Good choice if you want consistent feel across multiple clubs

How do I maintain the CP2 Pro grips for long life?

Routine cleaning with mild soap and water keeps the high-tack surface grippy and free of dirt, oils, and sunscreen buildup. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged sun exposure to preserve the rubber compound and internal core performance.

• Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap; rinse and air-dry
• Store clubs in a shaded, cool area when not in use
• Inspect periodically for wear and replace when tackiness diminishes

Who is this for? The Golf Pride CP2 Pro Standard 8-Pack is aimed at golfers seeking softer feel and improved control without increasing grip size—players who want to reduce lower-hand tension and stabilize torque across multiple clubs. It’s appropriate for recreational golfers, clubfitters redoing a set, and competitive amateurs who prefer a balanced combination of comfort and performance.
