Mechanix Wear Tactical Gloves Specialty Vent — Covert XX-Large, Ventilated High-Dexterity

Mechanix Wear Specialty Vent gloves are lightweight, fully ventilated tactical gloves that deliver high dexterity, touch-screen capability, and evaporative cooling for hot, sweaty conditions.

These covert XX-Large gloves are engineered to keep hands cooler and more functional in extreme heat or high-humidity environments. Combining a breathable mesh upper, a perforated 0.6mm synthetic leather palm, and an anatomical three-dimensional fit, they prioritize natural feel and precision control without sacrificing protection. Built for tactical use but useful across many outdoor and work activities, the Specialty Vent model focuses on airflow, tactile sensitivity, and a secure fit for active users.

How do these gloves keep hands cool during long, hot missions?

The Specialty Vent uses a ventilated construction to promote evaporative cooling and continuous airflow. Lightweight mesh across the back of the hand and perforations in the palm and trigger fingers allow heat and moisture to escape rather than trap it against the skin.

• Perforated 0.6mm synthetic leather palm for airflow
• Breathable mesh upper that encourages ventilation
• Perforated trigger fingers to reduce sweat build-up
• Micro-fleece thumb wipe to manage sweat and maintain grip

Will I still have precise control and trigger feel?

Yes — these gloves are designed for high dexterity with a tight, anatomical fit that mirrors the natural curvature of the hand. Expandable flex joints and a thin 0.6mm palm preserve tactile feedback and trigger control while still offering lightweight abrasion resistance.

• Anatomical three-dimensional shaping for a precision fit
Thin synthetic leather palm for natural feel and control
• Expandable flex joints to improve finger mobility
• Intended to fit snugly to minimize material between hand and tool

Can I use touchscreens and maintain a secure fit in the field?

These gloves include touchscreen-compatible fingertips so you can operate capacitive screens without removing them. A TPR wrist closure and adjustable hook-and-loop strap keep the glove secure, while nylon carrier loops make storage and transport simple.

• Touchscreen-capable finger tips for phones and tablets
• TPR thermoplastic rubber wrist closure for quick secure fastening
• Adjustable hook-and-loop strap to prevent slipping during activity
• Nylon carrier loops for compact storage between uses

How should I care for the gloves to maintain performance?

Mechanix Wear Specialty Vent gloves are machine washable to remove dirt and salt buildup that can degrade materials. Air dry only to preserve the integrity of the synthetic leather, TPR components, and mesh elements.

• Machine wash cold; do not bleach
• Air dry; avoid high-heat drying that damages materials
• Fasten hook-and-loop before washing to protect closures
• Use the nylon carrier loop for hanging and storage after drying
