Molithe Wool Blanket 62 x 86 Military Green — 100% Virgin Wool, 600 GSM Heavy Insulated Throw

Molithe 100% Wool Blanket is a large, heavy-duty virgin wool throw (62" x 86") built to deliver long-lasting warmth for camping, emergency kits, and home comfort.

This extra-large blanket combines dense 600 GSM virgin wool with reinforced edge stitching and a PU carry strap to create a rugged, portable layering piece. The blanket is made from new (virgin) wool fibers with a fine average diameter, processed through multiple washes and carding steps to reduce odor and increase softness while preserving wool’s natural durability and flame-retardant properties. Sized to share and stitched for outdoor use, it’s designed for field use, roadside emergencies, living-room naps, and group outdoor events.

How warm and dense is this wool blanket?

The Molithe blanket uses 100% virgin wool at approximately 600 GSM, providing a substantial weight and insulating layer without synthetic fill. Dense wool fibers trap air and retain heat while remaining breathable, so it warms effectively across a range of temperatures.

• 600 GSM wool weight for heavy insulation
• 100% virgin wool fibers (no recycled blends)
• Breathable natural fiber reduces overheating risks
• Large 62" x 86" size fits two adults side-by-side

Is the blanket durable enough for outdoor and military-style use?

Yes—the blanket is finished with thicker yarn and a reinforced seam technology to prevent edge fraying and extend service life. That construction, combined with wool’s inherent toughness, makes it suited for repeated outdoor use like camping, tailgating, and emergency kits.

• Heavy-duty seams resist wear at the edges
• Robust virgin wool stands up to repeated use
• Natural flame-retardant properties from wool fiber
• Designed for both indoor comfort and field durability

How comfortable and easy to care for is the blanket?

The blanket is carded and washed three times during production to reduce scratchiness and soften the fiber while lowering residual odor. It’s not as light as fine merino, but the processing yields a plush, skin-friendly feel that’s suitable for direct contact on couches and beds.

• Advanced carding and triple-wash process for softness
• Not overly scratchy—comfortable for most skin types
• Spot-clean or professional care recommended to preserve structure
• Stain-resistant surface compared with untreated wool

How portable is the blanket for travel and emergencies?

Molithe includes a premium PU strap that keeps the blanket rolled and easy to carry, making it simple to stow in a trunk, pack, or garage for quick access. The strap is flexible yet secure, letting you transport the heavy wool blanket without awkward bundling.

• Integrated PU strap for rolling and carrying
• Compact roll fits most car trunks and storage bins
• Quick to unroll for immediate use at events or roadside stops
• Durable strap withstands repeated transport and storage

Who is this for? The Molithe 100% Wool Blanket is aimed at outdoors enthusiasts, emergency-preparedness shoppers, and homeowners who want a robust natural-fiber throw for colder months. It’s ideal for campers, hunters, and tailgaters who need a dependable, generously sized blanket, as well as households wanting a heavy, long-lasting wool layer for couches and guest beds. If you value natural insulation, reinforced construction, and portability in one product, this blanket is a practical choice.
