Retrospec Comstock Ski & Snowboard Helmet - Adjustable Dial Fit, ABS Shell, Removable Ear Muffs (Black)

The Retrospec Comstock ski helmet is a lightweight, adjustable snow helmet built with an ABS shell, EPS impact foam, detachable fleece ear muffs, and a glove-friendly goggle clip for all-day comfort and protection on the mountain.

Engineered to balance safety, ventilation, and convenience, the Comstock helmet adapts to changing weather and activity levels. It pairs a protective hard outer shell with energy-absorbing inner foam and a dial-fit system so skiers and snowboarders—adults and young riders alike—can find a secure, customized fit. Breathable vents and removable liners keep you comfortable throughout long days on the slopes.

How does the Comstock protect my head during falls or collisions?

The helmet combines a sturdy ABS exterior with EPS foam inside to reduce and disperse impact forces. That dual-layer construction provides a resilient outer barrier and crushable inner material designed to manage energy from impacts without adding unnecessary weight.

• Hardened ABS shell resists penetration and abrasion.
• EPS shock-absorbing liner cushions impacts and reduces transmitted force.
• Full-coverage design protects temples and the back of the head.
• Available in sizes for both youth and adults for proper fit.

Can I stay comfortable in varying temperatures while wearing it?

Yes. The Comstock features ten ventilation ports and a moisture-wicking mesh cap that work together to manage heat and humidity. When temperatures drop, removable fleece ear muffs add warmth; when it warms up, you can detach them for extra airflow.

• Ten vents for improved airflow and reduced fogging.
• Moisture-wicking netted mesh cap to pull sweat away from the skin.
• Hand-washable fleece ear muffs that can be removed quickly.
• Goggle clip helps keep eyewear secured and ventilation unobstructed.

How easy is it to get a secure, customized fit?

Fit adjustments are simple and fast thanks to an ErgoKnob dial at the rear and fully adjustable straps. The dial lets you fine-tune the helmet circumference while the padded chin strap keeps the fit stable without pinching.

• ErgoKnob micro-adjust dial for precise tightening and loosening.
• Padded, adjustable chin strap for stable, comfortable wear.
• Size options (S, M, L) cover most youth and adult head circumferences.
• Clear sizing guidance helps you measure for the right fit.

What features make this helmet practical for regular use?

The Comstock is designed for everyday slope use: it’s lightweight, easy to maintain, and includes details that simplify a day of skiing or snowboarding. A glove-friendly goggle clip and washable ear muffs make transitions quick, and the durable shell stands up to routine wear.

• Glove-friendly goggle clip secures eyewear even when gloved up.
• Removable, washable ear liners for hygiene and seasonal flexibility.
• Lightweight construction reduces neck fatigue on long runs.
• Durable finish resists scuffs and retains appearance over time.

Who is this for? The Retrospec Comstock ski helmet is ideal for recreational skiers and snowboarders who want a dependable helmet that balances protection, comfort, and practical features. It’s a great choice for families buying youth and adult helmets, weekend riders who value easy maintenance, and anyone who appreciates a dial-adjust fit and removable ear muffs for adaptable temperature control.
