Retrospec Kids Ski & Snowboard Helmet — ABS Shell, Adjustable Fit, 10 Vents

Retrospec's Comstock Kids Helmet is engineered to give young skiers and snowboarders a reliable balance of protection, comfort, and temperature control. Combining a tough outer ABS shell with a shock-absorbing EPS foam liner, this helmet helps manage impact forces while remaining light enough to avoid neck fatigue. Thoughtful features—plush ear pads, moisture-wicking interior, a goggle retention clip, and a simple size-adjust system—make it a practical choice for families who want a single helmet that lasts through multiple seasons.

How does this helmet protect my child on the slopes?

The Comstock uses an ABS outer shell to resist penetration and distribute force, while the EPS foam liner absorbs and dissipates impact energy. The design meets common safety expectations for recreational winter sports and helps reduce the risk of head injury during falls.

• ABS outer shell for structural durability and surface protection
• EPS foam core engineered to absorb impact energy
• Secure chin strap and snug internal padding to limit movement

Will my child stay warm and comfortable all day?

Yes—plush insulated ear pads and a soft inner lining keep heat in and block wind, while moisture-wicking materials manage sweat during active runs. The helmet remains breathable so your child doesn’t overheat during lifts or long outings.

• Insulated ear pads for warmth on cold lifts and windy runs
• Moisture-wicking inner lining to reduce sweat build-up
• Lightweight construction minimizes neck strain for long sessions

How does ventilation work with winter use?

Ten strategically placed vents allow airflow to regulate temperature without sacrificing warmth. The venting system helps remove excess heat during high-output activity and prevents condensation from fogging goggles.

• Ten cooling vents for balanced airflow while active
• Mesh-lined openings to keep snow and debris out
• Vent placement that supports goggle anti-fog performance

Does the helmet adapt as my child grows?

The integrated adjustable fit system lets you fine-tune helmet circumference for a secure, wobble-free fit as your child’s head size changes. Extra removable padding also helps customize comfort and fit across seasons.

• Easy-to-use adjustment dial or strap for precise sizing
• Removable interior pads for fit customization and cleaning
• Universal unisex design suitable for boys and girls
