Roller Derby kids 2-in-1 adjustable quad and inline skates — Black/Blue, tool-assisted frame swap, sizes 12–6

These kids' skates combine a supportive, cushioned boot with interchangeable frames so young skaters can enjoy both traditional quad stability and inline speed without needing two separate pairs. The Falcon comes in black and blue, features tool-assisted frame swaps, and expands up to four children’s shoe sizes with an easy push-button adjustment. Built with indoor/outdoor urethane wheels and Silver-5 bearings, the skates are designed for recreational skating at rinks, sidewalks, and driveways.

How do I change the skates from quad to inline?

Switching frames is straightforward: remove the bolts holding the current frame, swap to the other frame, and reattach using the supplied allen wrenches. The process is fast but requires basic hand tools and should be done on a flat surface to keep parts aligned.

• Includes two allen wrenches to remove and refit frame bolts
• Unscrew four mounting bolts to detach a frame
• Align replacement frame and tighten bolts securely
• Check wheel rotation and brake placement after each change

What size range does the adjustable boot cover?

The Falcon is made to grow with small feet: the Medium shell adjusts from U.S. kids’ sizes 3 to 6, while the Small covers sizes 12 (toddler) to 2. Adjustment uses a push-button mechanism that slides the toe section forward or back and locks into place.

• Push-button adjustment expands up to four sizes for longer use
• Fits true to U.S. children’s shoe sizing for easier selection
• Inspect fit after adjustment to ensure toes and heel are secure

What performance features do these skates include?

Performance features focus on beginner comfort and reliable rolling: supportive boots with padding, urethane wheels suitable for indoor and outdoor surfaces, and Silver-5 bearings for smoother motion. The quads use real trucks for turning control, while the inline frame includes a non-marking brake on the right skate.

• Urethane wheels provide grip on both rink floors and sidewalks
• Silver-5 bearings enhance wheel spin and reduce rolling resistance
• Real quad trucks offer predictable turning and balance help
• Right-side brake on inline setup for familiar stopping control

How easy are these skates for beginners to use safely?

The Falcon is designed with beginner needs in mind: cushioned, supportive boots for ankle stability and simple adjustment and frame swap systems adults can manage. Always pair skating with protective gear and supervise children while they practice transitions between quad and inline modes.

• Cushioned collar and supportive structure help with balance
• Secure laces and buckles keep feet firmly in place
• Practice swapping frames off the skating surface first
• Use helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads for safety
