Srixon Soft Feel Golf Balls - Brite Orange 14-Pack, Low Compression Soft Feel & Enhanced Visibility

The Srixon Soft Feel 14 Brite Orange is a low-compression golf ball designed to deliver a noticeably softer feel, improved launch for moderate swing speeds, and high visibility on the course.

These Srixon Soft Feel Brite Orange golf balls blend a responsive, low-compression FastLayer core with a softer cover and a 338 speed-dimple pattern to balance feel, distance, and control. The bright orange matte finish makes them easier to track in flight and find in rough or low light. Built to suit a broad range of players, the Soft Feel 14 emphasizes a gentler impact sensation without giving up the distance or greenside performance many golfers want.

How do these balls improve distance without losing a soft feel?

Srixon's FastLayer core is firmer at the center and softer toward the outer core, which helps generate ball speed on longer shots while preserving a soft impact feel. The low overall compression helps players with moderate or slower swing speeds achieve a higher launch angle that adds carry. Together, these design choices create a ball that feels soft on contact yet still travels efficiently off the clubface.

• FastLayer core: soft outer layer with higher-energy center for speed.
• Low compression: aids launch for slower and medium swing speeds.
• 338 speed dimple pattern: reduces drag and stabilizes ball flight.

What control and spin can I expect around the greens?

The newer, softer cover formulation increases short-game bite and responsiveness, helping you hold greens more consistently on approach shots. The Soft Feel cover reduces rough driver spin but provides useful greenside spin for chips and pitches, delivering a softer sensation on putts and delicate shots. You’ll notice easier feel and feedback on short game strokes compared with firmer, distance-only balls.

• Softer cover: improved touch for chips, pitches, and putts.
• Reduced driver spin: straighter long shots off the tee for many players.
• Enhanced greenside spin: better stopping power on approach shots.

Why choose the Brite Orange color option?

The matte Brite Orange finish increases visibility during flight, in tall grass, and under overcast skies, making it easier to track and find your ball. The non-gloss matte surface also minimizes glare, improving sightlines on both tee shots and putts. Colorful options like Brite Orange are particularly helpful for players who want to speed up play by reducing search time.

• High-visibility matte finish: easier to spot in fairway and rough.
• Reduced glare: cleaner sightlines on putts and drives.
• Fast retrieval: less time searching, more time playing.

How durable are these balls over multiple rounds?

Srixon engineered the Soft Feel cover for resilient performance so the ball holds up through repeated strikes while retaining its soft sensation. The thin yet durable cover balances spin control with wear resistance; you should expect consistent play characteristics over several rounds. As with any golf ball, extreme scuffs or repeated impacts against hard surfaces will diminish appearance more than performance.

• Durable cover: retains feel and spin through normal play.
• Consistent performance: maintains ball speed and launch over rounds.
• Matte finish resists minor abrasions while staying visible.

Who is this for: The Srixon Soft Feel 14 Brite Orange is ideal for golfers with slower to moderate swing speeds who prioritize a soft, responsive feel but still want dependable distance and greenside control. It’s a practical choice for recreational players, high-handicap golfers, and anyone who values visibility on the course—especially those who play in mixed light or want quicker ball recovery. If you want a forgiving, comfortable-feeling ball that helps launch shots higher and stays visible, the Soft Feel Brite Orange is suited to your game.
