VICIS ARC_V1 Varsity Football Shoulder Pads - All-Purpose, Lightweight CURV Arch & Air Cushioning

The VICIS ARC_V1 Varsity Shoulder Pads deliver lightweight, multi-positional protection using CURV™ arch material and an advanced air-management cushioning system.

Built for athletes who need dependable coverage without added bulk, these All-Purpose pads blend modern composites and smart cushioning to balance mobility, impact distribution, and comfort. The ARC_V1 pairs VICIS’s CURV thermoplastic arch with a new VICIS Air Management Cushioning System and a pre-installed backplate so players across positions can wear one pad for practice and game day.

How do these pads manage impacts while staying light?

VICIS engineered the ARC_V1 with a CURV thermoplastic composite arch and epaulette that provide structural stiffness where it matters while minimizing weight. The geometry of the CURV components helps spread force across the pad rather than concentrating it, and the internal air-management cushioning absorbs and disperses energy under load.

• CURV composite arch and epaulette for controlled flex and stiffness
• Optimized weight-to-stiffness ratio to reduce mass without losing protection
• VICIS Air Management Cushioning System for energy dispersion

Will these fit multiple positions on the team?

Yes — the All-Purpose cut is specifically tailored for multi-positional athletes who need a versatile pad that performs for both skill and line players. The shape and coverage are balanced to allow freedom of motion for shoulders and arms while still protecting key contact zones.

• All-Purpose cut designed for wide range of positions
• Balanced shoulder and chest coverage for mobility and protection
• Pre-installed VICIS backplate adds lower-spine protection without extra parts

What comfort and fit features help during long practices and games?

The ARC_V1 combines internal cushioning with ventilation design to keep players comfortable during extended wear. Lightweight construction lowers fatigue, and the pad’s contours sit close to the body to reduce shifting and chafing when making plays.

• VICIS Air Management Cushioning System for breathable, cushioned fit
• Contoured shape to minimize pad movement and skin irritation
• Lightweight components reduce overall equipment burden on the athlete

How does this pad integrate with other protective gear?

The ARC_V1 is built to work smoothly with helmets, rib protectors, facemasks, and existing chest plates. The pre-installed VICIS backplate means fewer accessory purchases and a consistent protection profile across VICIS product families and Certor brands.

• Pre-installed VICIS backplate for added lower back coverage
• Compatible shape and strap points for standard harness systems
• Designed to sit well under jerseys and alongside VICIS helmets and rib protectors

Who is this for? The VICIS ARC_V1 Varsity Shoulder Pads suit coaches and players seeking a single, versatile pad for high school and collegiate play or advanced youth programs. They’re ideal for athletes who want modern composite protection and improved comfort without the weight penalty, and for teams standardizing on VICIS protection across helmets and pads.
